Does anyone know how to fix the damn disconnect issues? I will get communication error then forced to restart app to fix it as it will not be able to connect anymore if I don't restart. This happens very often about evry 30min -1 hr and I'm sick of it
It might not be your fault, the first time i played online (only been online once as I want to do offline first) I was disconnected on the second hunt. They could just be having a bit of trouble with servers as it is only the first version. I'm sure we will know soon if an update comes out.
Nah i'm not there yet just making sure cause i'm going to speed run through the guild hall once I get the feeling for my gs again. But does letting someone else host allow you to bypass the 100wyvern requirment and move on to hr7?
What is the difference between the boss monsters in the guild hall star levels? There are 2 giadrome quests for example. Any difference? More rewards?
Monters have slightly lesser health in elder quests, but you get to increase your Hunter Rank only in the guild.
No I mean the giadrome 1 star quest and the giadrome 3 star quest. Both in the guild hall. Also, with the question about upgrading armor to high rank, say you get your armor to level 15 or something, can you upgrade it again with materials and it becomes the high rank version, or do I have to make the high rank armor set from scratch? Thanks
The 1 and 2 star guild quests are all practice quests. I believe you cant even complete their sets from the materials you get from them. The upgrade is only to improve the defense, but it wont upgrade to higher rank. You have to make those from scratch. Same with G-Rank.
I believe you can bypass them since quest get marked as done no matter who hosts them except for urgent a of course
Ok thanks. Yeah I just thought it was a bit weird that in the 3rd star guild quests there are repeats of the earlier quests, and worst of all, 2 (two, exactly the same) Goldenfish quests. I hated getting 2 for the village quest, now I need to get 3 of them for two extra quests?!

Im HR9, but im slowly checking off each of the lower rank quests for the Guild Card Achievement Emblems. So far i've only completed the Elder and Nekoht quests.
It shouldn't be to hard tho after all I did go to hr9 solo so shouldn't have a hard time completing every single quest
Ugh, still can't beat khezu. I just whale on him, knock him down, whale on him some more, but eventually one of his electrified leaps that I think I dodged connects and it's 1hko with my weak gunner armor. I've been focusing on melee up to now, anybody have any suggestions for early gunner armor that'll let me take at least 1 hit? I've been prioritizing the auto tracker skill to save time, but I'd really like to not die in one hit.
I know it's not the best place to attack, but as a blade master I go for tail. The only thing that will hit you is his electrified body attack, if you don't roll away, that is. Eventually he will die, but I would recommend taking potions and honey to make extra megas.
Capturing I asked the quoted question about capturing a few days ago but did not get an answer: is there a point to using multiple tranquilizer bomb in a row (does their effect add up)? I think not but then capturing is only a matter of throwing a bomb at the right time, for instance when the hp of the monster is below a threshold. If the latter is correct, is the window between the threshold and slaying the monster large in general (how many hits)?
