You sure I should not try village blangonga?Cause it was said that you have to complete village quests first and then do the guild hall ones.
For the last 18-22 hours I've been trying to kill that damn bird thing, kut ku or whatever it's called. I've tried over 40 times now and it just dazed me over and over and then pummels me. I have a bit of patience but it's pretty much run out now after over 40 attempts on this quest I'm guessing this is as far as I'm going to get with the game. I might try again later but I'm getting annoyed with myself so I'll give it a break for a while.
Well I'd like to say that I smashed tigrex out of the ballpark, but I only got him on my second try :/ I brang power and armor seeds, but they didn't do much because they ran out before I could attack (lol), and I brought a shock trap from home. As soon as I put the shock trap down he flew away :'( I'm so glad that I've managed to beat him though, although I can't make much out of what I got from him. All the 5 star quests are pretty tough. And I don't think I'm ready to take on any elder dragons yet. I think I will farm some kut ku and rathian to upgrade my hammers. Btw, since I'm getting monster bone+ does that mean I can get other high rank mats now?
Hi there, everyone gets this initial feeling when they first play a monster hunter game, I've played each release since freedom 2 and know that every game, especially unite throws you in the deep end. I've used most weapons for a good amount of time and my favourite is the Sword and sheild, I would highly recommend this weapon to you if you like the dual blades. It is very fast and agile and you have the ability to block if you end up in a sticky situation. Make sure you take advantage of status ailments where possible to help out, getting a paralysis weapon like the genprey sword and sheild is a great starter weapon as it can be used against almost anything in the lower quests and has the chance for some free hits. The only other weapon I usually recommend to new monster hunter players is the long sword which tends to be a comfortable weapon to use as it is fairly quick for it's size and is very much a hack n slash weapon. Just my personal experience, hope this helps.
Are you hunting with others or alone? Can you beat a rathalos? If yes, make the ls from Rath materials, because blangonga is weak to fire. You can roll underneath him when he turns to you. Just stay behind him and when he's far away, unsheath yor weapon and run, because he will make a long range attack. Attack only one leg to make him fall. He will be unable to move for about 3-4 secs. When he's starting to hobble, set a shocktrap and throw 3 calming bombs, (capturing).
Thx a lot @chubby pig.. Right now I'm half way done with level 2 quest.. Forgot the name of the dragon/dinosaur in the jungle map.. I can't beat him and the main reason why is because he just flees around the map and the time expires.. I find this soooo frustrating.. The monster that has me completely stumped is the monster in the desert.. He goes under the sand and pops out of no where.. Yeah can't beat that guy
Man, I wish I had more time for this. Between work and wife the past week, I've only just beat a Congalala quest from the Guild Hall. Feels good though. Makes me wanna see some Planet of the Apes. And then imagine smashing them all with my Hunting Horn!
Is it possible to increase the item satchel carrying capacity for missions! My items fill up way too quickly, I barely bring anything with me but still fill up too quickly!
This is my 1st ever play of this game. Not sure about how to make plenty of money. Just going through level 2 now. I need to improve my weapon but so far I haven't got too much of an idea how to do that except by buying gems with points. What I'm using is dual blades because they're easier to run with but I do need a more powerful weapon but I don't want to be slowed down a lot so I'm not sure about what to do next. There doesn't seem to be any quests where you can go out and kill and build up your resources. It's either win or die and lose everything you gained while hunting. I love the challenge but now I just want a much better weapon or to upgrade May dual blades but been playing this for a few hours today and it's the challenge which makes the game great.
Don't buy gems so early in the game. I fight with ds,ls and hammer. Hammer for monsters like Kut Ku, Rathian, ls for fast monsters like blangonga and ds for slow like congalala. The demondance from the ds is the best attack but it requires a lot of time. So you have to change your weapons whether you like it or not.
Any tips on staying the dragon in the jungle map.. Not sure the name of the monster sorry.. It's level 2, quest 10 or 11 I believe.. Thanks guys? I'm trying to also setup a lobby so if anybody wants to do a level 2 quest let me know
Sounds like you're on the same monster as me, the kut ku? Well I've tried it 41 tines so far and I can't kill the damn thing. Hope you have more luck than me.
I found duals to be quite meh for the Kut-Ku and switched to GS (Red Stripe). Then it's all about punishing him.
Thanks my friend.. I've probably lost to him 20 times or so.. I've changed weapons, I've bought the maximum amount of those barrel bombs and tried blowing him to pieces.. That hasn't worked.. A few times I thought I had him beat he would just run away and time expires.. It's really frustrating.. I'm also having trouble figuring out of to hire those cats to help me in battle.. I need those guys!!! Lol
