How about congongala? Any specific areas, he keeps running to different locations so I know I'm getting my hits in, but no enough damage... And I don't have anything I can craft yet with fire ability
Any tips for breaking shogun claws? They're in the air 90% of the time Any tips on basarios? I ended up pre-rage quitting (I just knew I would eventually lol) because my hammer kept bouncing. My hammer. A blunt weapon. Bouncing.
Shock Traps. Hammer has super pound. It has innate ESP (doesnt bounce at all). Charge your hammer to full and release WITHOUT MOVING THE VSTICK.
So you DONT want to mix and match armor? Why? Is there buffs for having a full set? This is my first monster hunter game I have played. I just killed the congalala and have not died once the whole game. I guess I'm just a natural if people are dying on the bulldrome!
You just have to explore and gather random flowers and stuff like that. That's the beauty of it!! After a while you will remember the locations of herbs and other gathering spots!

Just killed plesioth on my first try, but I see what you guys meant by his hip check hit box was dope. Now I just need to kill the green plesioth to complete the *** village quests -_- So what's the best tactic with the hammer? Should I charge up and super pound whenever I get a chance. Or should I try the normal 3-hit combo? I heard the golf swing move is the most powerful though
I wouldn't speak too highly of yourself just yet. The main enemies in this game are wyverns. If you can fight all of them without dying I'll give you your props. I'll admit I died plenty in the beginning trying to learn how to play but I'm better with some monsters than others. I actually think it's better to die more at the beginning so you learn how to be patient and analyze your enemy. If you win too much it'll be hard when you fight the hardest monsters and lose. It all comes down to play style in the end since not every one uses the same weapons or same attacks.
Lol I rage quitted the green plesioth I don't know if the developers didn't fix the hitbox for nostalgic reasons or is just really cruel and sadistic...
haha.. that Khezu was my first snap back to reality. I was destroying monsters and got new gear and everything.. clicked Khezu and was like whatevs.. .. ... .. .
Aw man. I kinda breezed through the khezu cause I had the bow. That blangaga though. Good lord. I almost broke my phone out of frustration. Was definetly my first real wall
Just a hot tip for newbies such as myself. The combat in this game seems to be ALL ABOUT THE COMBO! I only just worked that out myself mucking around in the field with a long sword. I used to just hit the attack button and it would just smash the ground and tie me up in the move for a few seconds while a monster can then charge at me. Working out the weapon combos, you can get a few hits on them in one move.. Wish that point had been made clearer to me!!
I am by no means a professional at monster hunter, but I am so glad a got so much experience out of Tri! I haven't actually hit any 'walls' where I fail quests. My 'wall' is when it takes a long time to kill something eg. Blangonga. I'm expecting to actually start failing quests pretty soon though, what with the harder quests. My downfall is that I only used the SnS in Tri, and since the combos in MHFU aren't as fluid I've been forced to use other weapons to get the materials I need.
