To be honest, it's either bad luck (poor drop rate) or you're right, the congalalalalalalala is too weak. lol. Anyhow, I had the same issue with my Hermitaur set. I had to kill a stronger Hermitaur to make it drop claws.
I'm actually on my sixth Congalala victory. Did another 3 captures, all with their horns smashed off. None of them yielding Vibrant Pelts. At least I'm gaining some experience fighting Congalalas, but it looks like either the Desire Sensor is playing tricks with me, or I need to do higher rank hunts.
How do you get the in-game chat to work? The option to agree to terms and agreement appear but clicking on it yield nothing. Hard to communicate in the lobby when the chat function isn't working.
3 for broken mohawk and captures is nothing compared to the over 40 rathalos i have to kill just to get 5 rathalos tails which require i'd have to cut the tail first before you get a sall chance to carve them. That's just MH being MH.
Same here with ** Blangonga...never dropped tails or jaws for my gunlance...I will try to do the **** blangonga tomorrow and maybe it will work...btw I got the vibrant pelts off the *** congalala in the guardian hall. Also!Anyone knows how hard is it to break Blangonga's jaws and a tail with a fire hammer?

The last fight against the Shogun with Lawliet unlocked the last piece of armor I needed (I don't know why though, we didn't break anything new). I can't decide
@Varo. The first helmet is pretty badass. Too bad I don't like the female helmets at all. They're both terrible imo (for female). If I had your first one I'd take that. 2nd one is not bad either. No problem on my ipod t5g. Their hardware is pretty similar to the 4s so I'm not sure what the problem is. But if I play a graphic intensive game like Infinity Blade, it will close if I try to multitask. Nothing you can do except don't switch apps.
Unless you're jailbroken and installed lots of plugins or have HUNDREDS of apps installed, I can't give an explanation of why that's happening to you. iPhone 4S here and no problems with its multitasking.
IMHO, the best way to gain money is still by the quests @Varo: the helm on the first pic looks a lot better than the one below for me
@Varo yeah the first one looks cooler. I'm still finishing crafting my khezu armor, will come in handy for group quests. The next armor I'm going to look into crafting will be some black beetle armor (can't think of the official name), it has evade+ on all of the pieces so that should be very useful. Just need to find some hercudromes...
I couldn't for the god of me find any light crystals, even defeated gypceros twice and haven't received anything. Also been mining the swamp and still haven't found any in the past 3 hours. Is there some trick to getting light crystals?
