What a pity :/ Also, I wonder if anyone played the Monster Hunter missions on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker? The Rathalos is way easier when you have a M202.
So what happens if when you create a new character and then select no to are you a beginner? Is the game more difficult or does it skip the tutorials or what? Thanks!
Hi I played this game for 300 hours on the PSP, I was HR5, Nekoht complete. I couldnt make the dual Tigrex quest and now with the multiplayer in the IOS version, I began a new save. @To the guy who can't beat Blangonga. I can beat him with no dmg. It's quite easy actually. Search for `moment of invulnerability'. Learn the this move and you can evade his earthquake.
Found the source of my problems-Blangos and captured blangonga...but no fangs or tails...1 more fang and 4 more tails to go...
Hi everyone, been reading about this game and following this thread a little in the beginning and every page world wide release till now. I'm really enjoying this game and have a question for everyone playing it on an apple device... Is your battery draining very very fast when you play? I lose about %10 every 5-8 minutes offline. I have an iPhone 5S running the latest software. I know this game is going to be a drain but I didn't expect such a huge one! Wondering if it's my phone since I saw no mention of it. Also.. When you play online and you try chatting it says to download the official chat app for monster hunter - Lobi Has anyone successfully linked the two or is it better to use the in game version? I thought some people were using voice chat? Thanks for the help.
iPhone 4S here and same problems with the battery. That's because the game is very demanding, more because of the FPS (higher than 30) than because the graphics themselves. Also I've never been able to link a lobi account with a game that uses lobi. Tried it with SFxT Mobile and couldn't.
I take back what I said earlier about Congalala. Did the Village Elder quest 3 times and beat it 3 times no problem; 2 slaying, 1 capture. Chalk it down to novice inexperience when I played it on the PSP. Got almost all the Congalala mats for the Conga Armor, but I can't for the life of me get a Vibrant Pelt. I always destroy the horn on Congalala's head, but all three times, no Vibrant Pelt. Do I get it from higher ranked Congalala hunts or something? Need Bulldrome Hide still. Looking forward to that. I hate Bullfango with an unyielding passion, so I look forward to slaying their alpha.
I'm quite sure it played at 30 FPS. I don't have any problem with MHFU's multitasking as long as the other app doesn't use a lot of RAM, so for example I can go back to the SB to check some emails, and then back to MHFU and the game won't restart.
mm I prefer to play online and a total noob at this game.. i've joined the online lobby and it seems people are picking random quests (1-3 star ones).. They seem pretty easy and i've killed the Landshark without a problem.. but coming back out of the lobby they tried to do the landshark again.. What order should I do quests ? i'm on the cat outsides second star ones now, should i do some 1-3 onlines before completing the solo ones? thanks
The guild quests doesn't give you more loot or more rare objects. The monsters there just have more HP and attack damage. So try to complete the cat quests to make the guild quest easy or make the quests simultaneously.
There's really no order. You can pick what feels good for you. There's only an order if you want to level up your Hunter Rank quicker but it doesn't do much for you. It won't make you a better hunter so early game it wouldn't matter. Guild quests are tougher so if you go back and do higher level quests on Elder missions, they should supposedly be easier for your skill level. Playing online is generally easier because you can play with other people. If you play solo then it wouldn't be any different.
