Guys I don't get it!Please explain!I beat kut ku solo with my snow gunlance mk ii easily in kut ku armor(LAST HR1 2** quest in the gathering hall).Now I cannot beat Blangonga which is quest number 2 in HR1 gathering hall.I don't get it guys,I am using Hernataur 4/5 armor and I still cannot beat him.What is the matter?I use only herbs,aid potions and normal potions while I am fighting with him.Maybe I need buffs or better potions?Maybe I got no skills with a gunlance?
If im not mistaken blangonga is resist againt ice. So if you use ice gunlance it will take longer to kill him n

LOL... It simply means you are getting hit too much. And as pointed out by Validator, it is a bit resistant to ice. Blangonga is weak to fire. Having 4 out of 5 hermitaur armor pieces means you dont have any armor skills activated. You probably need to switch weapon elements first, and then work on not getting hit too much while you deal damage. Take note MH is not an RPG, and it is more skill-dependent than it is equips setup dependent.
I do not understand what do you mean by "having 4/5 hermitaur armor pieces means you don't have any armor skills activated".Hermitaur armor has no special set bonuses and it's armor skill points are activated on my char.
I just beat the green Plesioth. This was so pathetic, I need a break and get some rest now. This guy is my personal nightmare. I hate him!
Check out http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Hermitaur_Armor_(Gun) - the section showing "Skills" shows what kind of skills you will get from that armor set. The "Defense +20" skill should trigger when you get 10 skill points, so having only 4 of the 5 armor pieces (as long as you have the pants plus the greaves) should be fine for what you are doing. If you are missing the pants or greaves, you will only have 9 points in that skill which means you aren't actually getting the bonus. Furthermore, if you want some help with killing the Blangonga, I'd be happy to join you for some jolly cooperation.
the low rank Hermitaur Armor as a full set activates Guard+1, Improved Throw and Defense+ (forgot the exact amount). If you look at your status, and go to page 3, there are activated skills on the left side of the screen. For example... Guard needs 10 skill points to activate Guard+1, and 15 skill points to activate Guard+2. Since you are lacking an armor piece, and im assuming you havent played much with decorations yet, it would mean you dont have any armor skills activated on your character.
He's pretty easy when you are a gunner, but definitely a nightmare when meleeing. Like I said, he's a magical fish with a magical hitbox, which deals magical amounts of damage.
Wow.. I'm fighting this boar that seems to be 20 foot high and built like a brick outhouse. Edit: I so wish I could use my PS4 controller with this, it would be infinitely easier ..I think (I'm on 7.1.1 jailed, so jailbroken apps are not possible)

um...i AM a gunner. Mainly archer. He wasn't hard but he is such a time waster. I dunno if I had bad luck but this idiot was hopping into the water the whole time, it was pathetic. I've thrown so many bombs (don't know how it is named in english) to get him out of the freaking water. But ye, I was also using Kut Ku Stave I (oooooone, argh) so this surely was a one of the reasons why it took so long. I don't get the magical part though
Sorry... the Magical was supposed toi be sarcastic (fail. LOL). Plesioth a a retardedly bad hitbox that his attacks hit you when none of his body parts actually touch you.
I've never played it online, I suspect it would be a bad idea as I'd be more like a burden than a help
