Ye, figured that out with google and found a sheet about how the dmg is calculated for a bow. Quite interesting. Didn't tought that it is calculated by so many things. But this makes it even more fun, imo. I wonder if every newbie is aware of how to activate abilities/skills.
I have some (probably) lame questions, please forgive me I'm a slow learner Current position:- I'm on the 1 star quests, just completed the 3rd one (carnivore one) 1:- I have 110 guild points. ..what are guild points used for exactly? 2:- I see I'm now being charged points/money? when I collapse and the poor cats have to drag me home. Could I ruin my game by getting to a point where I can't afford to pay and thus they won't take me back? (I can see it happening as I collapse a lot) 3:- for a total newbie is it better to craft new weapons or buy them? (I have about 4000 whatever-the-currency-is) 4:- I almost never block/defend as most of my time is spent positioning myself and the camera, I simply don't have time to use the defend/block button as well. So.. With this being the case I'm guess S&S is pretty much 50% useless! should I just use a weapon with no shield? ie: LS? Thanks
You unlock more "words" to describe your title for your guild card. Nothing that affects gameplay. As long as you succeed in most mission you will never run out of money. This isnt the usual freemium. LOL. When you complete the mission, you get the reward money, plus twice the entry fee when you took the mission. In the very beginning, buy your first set from the cat. It's cheaper than wasting materials when you can use those into better weapons. Umm... Not really sure what to say to this. It's like playing mario without shooting fireballs when you have those But yeah, LS, DS, Hammers and Hunting Horns (melee classes that dont have the block ability) can also get the job done well. Honestly though... IMO, the block is only essential for a Gunlance user. It is handy to have for SnS, Lance and GS when you mis-timed a dodge roll, but if you are blocking too much with those classes, then you're probably doing it wrong. I've seen some playstyle with Lances abusing blocks, but it isnt as effective as for you use a gunlance instead. Lances are so much better abusing Evade +2 skills and hop-dodging attacks instead of blocking them.
Prolly not a lot of them yet. Best to let them discover it for themselves. Let's them learn how to fight monsters rather than relying on some skills like HGE and Evade+.
Ahahahaha! Seriously though, players need to know when to block roars (or Gyp's flash) or super dive, or even dodge Narga's attacks (easily dodge rolled without evade skills more than any other monster attacks). Once they know how to do that, they can start using HGE or Evade+ to abuse bigger openings offered by these skills. These skills really make the game slightly easier, and are quite powerful used offensively with the extra openings, but they are crutches to those who arent familiar with the monsters yet. Problem is getting reliant on these skills. The best armors may not have these skills on them, and it's somewhat a bad reason to stick to the armors with these skills if they can use something more powerful. Back in the day i was soooo used to Evade+2 that when i got the full Rajang X armor i got my ass handed back to me so many times by plesioth. Took a while for me to adjust and consistently avoid damage from this magical fish.

Question, when I type in room numbers it always says room not found tap no to create? What am I doing wrong? And can you still give low rare items in this version? I can only find give companion. What page is the (how to transfer saves on non jail broken)? All I can find is people saying went over that already?
