Anyone know if bow damage get multiplied by 4 when I split shot 4 arrows and every single one hits the taget?
I'm loving this game, it's really fun and the graphics are nice but I'm really struggling a huge amount with the controls, mainly the damn camera. Even using the 'tap screen to point ahead' feature I'm finding myself struggling to keep things in view. (Yes I use auto lock but I keep turning the damn thing off accidentally) I don't want to give up because the game has soooo much promise (and it wasn't cheap. Hah) Does anyone know of a YouTube video that explains how to use the controls efficiently, as I can't find one.
This game is frustrating me so badly because everyone online is so freaking bad. I'm stuck on the HR2 Balagonga Urgent because every time I find a party, they die before we finish the mission. I had him freaking limping and some idiot runs in, dies, comes back, and dies again before we kill him. Seriously, there needs to be some friends list function so we can add good people from TA and then coordinate.
I have this problem as well. I think it's a bit easier on a small screen than a tablet. Edit: Also, setting the tablet on a flat surface and playing that way is easier. Hope that helps.
The controller makes this play like a dream. Jailbreak. Get controllers for all from cydia Use your own controller. I been using my wiiU pro one. I haven't had any issues. I used my ps3 one also, but since the pairing method is slightly harder on ps3 I been preferring the wii one. All in, it'll cost 2 dollars and some of your time. U can use your old controller. And don't have to worry about shoddy build quality at 80 or 100 dollars.
can anybody please tell me how well the online mode works when you want to invite your friends? I've read all 203 pages and seen a few remarks that some of you having trouble finding a particular room. Is this problem rectified by Capcom now? This is really important as the online is the only reason that I want to get this on ios (some of my friends live in different cities). Thank you for the help
To all of people that still thinking to push the buy button on MHFU i want to say that is the cheapest game on AppStore compare to how many hours you are going to play this title.Monster Hunter FU,Xcom Enemy Unkown,Oceanhorn,Wayward Souls,Minecraft PE,Final Fantasy 6,Chrono Trigger etc...A small list of masterpieces only on a premium form!
It's worked fine for me. A few connection errors here and there but nothing too bad or detrimental; usually just in the Guild Hall and not in-game.
I was going to pick this game up but decided to just get the Wii U version instead (monster hunter 3 ultimate). The controls on that are tricky even with a controller. You guys are brave playing this in a touch screen, especially when the big monsters come out to play.
@ttocs i put tons of time into mh3 ultimate. its pretty much the only game i even played on my wiiU. even tho i have 7 other games. put in over 800 hours between the 3ds and wiiU versions. you can transfer your character over too. game is amazing. i have only a few (two i think) g rank quests left. then i moved over to the port, and have been soloing all of the multi quests. the controls on wiiU are WAY better than on 3ds even with the circle pad pro. i actually really like the controls on wiiU. seems hard at first, but once you get to g rank, you'll be doing just fine. with the controller on ipad, it controls almost as good as wiiU (because with wiiU its like the tablet and the controller are fused into one thing in your hands, rather than having you reach out to touch the screen. but the graphics look really good on ipad, and it has different monsters than 3 Ultimate. so having both versions isn't redundant.
Yes and Its called mega pickaxe. But you have to make it yourself using "bone" and "machalite ore" material.
Am I the only one who struggles to use the gunlance?Using level 2 snow gunlance at the moment and I wasted 10 herbs and 5 potions on soloing Kut ku.Maybe I am just not used to it...it is just so slow and hard to dodge attacks with it.
No need for the aggro; I didn't feel like reading through a 200 page thread and search wasn't working for some reason.
When I started I struggled with every single weapon. You pretty much just need to test them all out and see which one suits your style. I wouldn't pick any just because I like the sound of it. My first choice was GS and I got destroyed so badly using it.
Hate to say it but I think I'm going to delete this, which pains me deeply as I really wanted to get into it and tbh I can't afford to throw away £10. I'm not blaming the game, it's me, I really should have known it would be too hard to control. I've been doing the beginners tutorials over the last 24 hrs and I've barely even scratched them as I spend most of my time spinning around trying to see where I'm going. Ughh
Wish I had caught you before you bought it, Mene. After seeing your issues with the camera in DQ8, I could have pretty much guaranteed you weren't going to get along well with MH's infamously quirky camera. Sorry you couldn't get into it. :/
