Yeah, Capcom didn't seem to care about iPad users up until the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 port (if memory serves me right). They don't seem to care about updating any of the games released before then, either. You would expect more from one of the biggest game developers/publishers, but "Oh well" is all I can say.
Yeah an iapd monster hunter would be cool indeed, I sent capcom an email just before Christmas when I got my ipad4 asking if they had any plans for a ipad version of MH and they pretty much just said no.
Well.. they just released a new MH game on the 3DS, i hope they consider making one of the MH games on the ipad at least. They can simplify the controls as they see fit, or they can just make "arena" battles similar to the ones in the handheld MH titles.
It would be nice to have a MH on iOS iPads like the console games, but that would be very hard, and you could imagine how much rage people would give them if there was a bug that erased their data, or crashed at inconvenient times. This pretty much just looks like the arena mode from the other MH titles. Hey, about the new one for 3DS, is it good, I think I saw it somewhere, and it looked like a remake of MH3. Anyone know if it's any good?
I can vouch for it. I'm at about 109 hrs so far, about to get into g rank. Plays good on 3ds, plays even better if u got the circle pad pro. The online aspect is gimped tho, can't use it unless u got yourself a wii u (and who does?) but it is a port of tri from the original wii. Got sucked into it on wii, and even worse this time. There are some changes from tri. Highly recommended.
Yeah that is understandable, but imagine if you were just about to kill a deviljho (which isn't even in this game, just for example), and then your game crashes. Goodbye, deviljho gem :'(
Oh he's in there. He always shows up unexpectedly, and starts raging on me! Edit. thought you were talking about 3ds version. Never played this.
Hey, imagine a blackout while playing MH on a bigger console or something else. Whoopsie, gem gone, too. Bad things can always happen. Stop being too pessimistic. Well, I see your point, but if you take Infinity Blade, for example... I played it dozens of hours and it never crashed. It's absolutely possible to develop games on iOS that don't crash. It just needs skilled devs and a good bug hunter testing team.
Yeah that's true. I have only ever played MH3, and I liked it, but I just found out that the servers have been taken down. I can understand that servers can be expensive, and most people will be playing on the 3DS' anyway, but still, I'm felling pretty down. I MISS JHEN AND ALATREON! Not to mention all the other high ranking monsters and their drops, which are required when making really badass armour/weapons.
Well, if you want MH on your phone, you can jailbreak it and download PPSSPP, PSP emulator that's still in development. So far, Unite works well, and of course you can use your PSP savedata. Portable 3rd crashes though.
Yeah i wanted to get into the later MH games but my last one was MHP3. Clocked about 300 hours on that one, but I clocked over 2500 hours on MHFU. This was the last video I did before.
On a whim, I re-downloaded this on my phone with iOS 9.3.2 and discovered it works now. This isn't the greatest MH game, but I'm happy it works again all the same.
