Universal Monster Fighter - looking for feedback

    Hi,

    I'm MrMalm and two or three people might remember my terrible game BASICAL. Well I'm working on a new game that is equally dumb called Monster Fighter.

    It's an all text game where you fight monsters and all the action happens in boring sentences. Right now I'm building the framework for the game and there is a lot of lackluster placeholder text.

    Check out the title screen. This is terrible and will be changed later:

    So far I've prototyped the combat system, which sucks, and put in a bunch of placeholder monsters. [​IMG]

    The only reason I'm posting this is to see if anyone has any feedback about what I have so far. If you think I should put in sprites, don't bother posting a comment. This is a text only game.

    Other features I currently have planned:
    -status effects
    -weapons with status effects (or not (whatever))
    -towns
    -Dating simulation (jk)
    -Boss battle
    -random events
    -gold or US dollars (currency system)
    -leveling up!
    -leveling down!
    -sound effects (if my Kickstarter for this game gets funded)
    -save states
    -Hunger system (if you are hungry in RL the game will know)
    -Shops

    Well let me know if you have any ideas. I'm actually still 100s of hours away from getting this game in a playable state so whatever, dude.
