Of all the awesome and imaginative powerups possible, invulnerability has gotta be the most boring.

 

Might it be a ferocious werewolf? Let him out! If it is, maybe we'll get a chance to run through Werewolf Woods!

 

Haha, I like that idea Even if there isn't actually a werewolf on the box, that would be perfect for a new environment.

I'm thinking it's a new weapon, or even a mini vehicle...

 

Love the game! Have some criticisms though, some might've already been mentioned:

-monsters spawning immediately in front of you (especially when you're already running quite fast, they can be impossible to blast)
-spikes in landing zone, unavoidable when running fast
-shooting two monsters in rapid succession (second fire is always too late, even when tapping as fast as possible)

I think the box is a little wide for your standard item. Maybe Halfbrick is so awesome that they lead us on to believe it's a weapon, but is in fact a new monster? But if it isn't I'd say a vehicle is a good guess.

 

Do you guys just hold down the shotgun button the entire time?

^IMO missing out on a great game because it's not HD resolution is one of the most foolish things a 'gamer' can do. Don't get me wrong, I drool over my retina display as much as the next guy, but you should know by now that fun gameplay trumps graphics every time. [Insert Wii vs Xbox comparisons]. Just my opinion.

I don't, although it wouldn't be a bad idea. I feel more in control if I blast on reaction, especially the pesky spawning monsters. Also, for some reason I care about my accuracy stat even though the machine gun jetpack laughs at it.

No retina display games on iPhone 4 looks like on iPhone 2G/3G/3Gs (thanks to simple 2X zoom, small screen and great dpi)... It's not like a dvd on fullhd tv (not so simple upscaling 640*480/720*576 -> 1920*1080 and not so great dpi).

 

The guys at halfbrick are geniuses. They created two great apps that they can constantly upgrade and keep buyers' interest high because of the style of the game. In fruit ninja, blades and fruit. In monster dash, environments, monsters and weapons. Halfbrick rocks

 

Yup but you forgot backgrounds as well in FN

 

i think i use the machine gun jetpack as more of a safety net than an actualy weapon...

 

I hope this update comes out soon. You'd think they'd speed up top 25 app updates...
