I wouldn't threaten that. If the world ends then you'll NEVER be able to play the game, but if it doesn't end you'll be able to play it some time in the future. If you're capable of ending the world, why not just build a time machine?
Because ending the world requires the pressing of a button nowadays. On the other hand, building a time machine requires a more advanced understanding of the laws of physics, a much more energy filled and efficient fuel source than gasoline in quantities that we don't have today, and (if your making a simple time machine) a mechanism with a track capable of circling the Earth 7 times per second. Going at that speed (almost the speed of light) would allow time outside the machine to pass, whilst you are suspended in your current state (well not current but you'll see what I mean). Going at that speed for 100 years would only feel like a week to you, so wa la! You're a hundred years in the future and you've only aged 7 days! So that thing running for a month should feel like around 0.8 minutes for you? Sounds good to me.
Wait , so it's releasing next week ? OK or to be more specific it's getting 'submitted' this week. Still great news
True, but you'd have to be careful not to upset the balance of time. For example, if you totally " drop out" of existence for that set amount of time, then it could effect the balance of time in a negative way. Possibly causing the game itself to not exist anymore. Also, trying to find the components before the game launches ( it sounds like it's soon) would practically be impossible. Plus, I don't think the government of ANY country would permit you to have a time machine. Thus, it's probably more efficient and effective that you play either block fortress or heroes and castles to pass the time. They're fun games anyway.( I love having discussions like this.)
Edit: Yeah! Twitter announcement! ...I traveled back from days/weeks/months in the future where I saw the fury Monster Adventure wrought so have come back to stop it (which may be why Foursaken Media is mum).
Yep, we'll be submitting by the end of this week! Finally got done with the story after ~18 hours or so And then of course you can continue to try to become champion of the Monster Games (coliseum), as well as compete in the challenge and challenge streak leaderboards, compete in the leaderboards for how deep in the wilderness you can go, battle others in versus mode, play co-op etc... lots of stuff to do in the game and I think it will have some major longevity! We'll announce the release date once everything is good to go
+1 After Smash Bandits and the F2P mess known as Where's My Water 2, it's great to have a real developer who care about making quality games. This is a day one instabuy for me
Well, because the idea I presented doesn't actually defy the laws of physics, I think we should be right. Because movement through time and space is an inverse relationship, the faster you move through space, the slower you move through time (kinda like the more you travel north, the less you travel east). This is because as you move faster, you actually gain mass. And ass you probably know, mass distorts space, but it also distorts time. When your speed gets so great that it's nearing the speed of light, your mass will be so immense that it will actually slow down time for you. Therefore you're literally "moving" into the future (hehe so punny) while not breaking any laws of nature. So you wouldn't actually drop out of existence. So when you go on your trip it's not "Where's Jim?!" "I don't know he got on this train and disappeared!" It's actually "Where's Jim?" "Oh he's gonna be on this super fast train for a month, but it'll only feel like 0.8 minutes for him, so he doesn't have to wait for some game." "Oh I gotcha." So this is actually something that is very possible, we just don't have the resources. The thing that impossible for quite a while is time travel to the past. That's where we have to worry about paradoxes and the Butterfly Effect. The only way we know of now that time travel to the past would be possible would be a wormhole that connects two points in time.
Excellent! I have just enough. So hopefully this'll get approved fast in time for next Thursday One more question: download size? I don't always like deleting games to make space, but a new Foursaken game is worth it
What's up Foursaken Media. I haven't been around in a while but have been keeping a eye on this( as I do with all your games) and I must say this could be the most excited I've been for one of your games. Besides street fighter volt, because of the multiplayer, the 3 games I've played the most on my iOS device come from these guys. Bug heroes, nyz and heroes and castles all had me hooked and still do. As always I wish Jamie and team all the best and I can't wait for this gem.
Exciting! Foursaken Media, Question: any goodies for the iPhone 5S users? Aside from better FPS any visual tweaks/graphical optimization yo take advantage of the better chips?
