Well, i wouldn't call this genre pokemon but monster building, but I have read in several publications or maybe it was people posting that it was pokemon style. I have no idea what pokemon games are about, so that is why I put that. Maybe it is the incorrect terminology. Monster building will do I guess.
Thanks for the thorough reply... And for suffering through my poorly dictated post! I will give this a go!
What happens to the monster I summon using an essence? Do I get to keep it afterwards as a permanent monster? How does that work? I bought the essence grab bag and I'm not sure whether I should fuse them with my fisrt monster or summon them.
I really love this game so far. The controls, graphics and content are amazing. I just have a couple of questions that need clearing up: How do you beat the first monster in the coliseum? I have the ranged power it has, however I can't lower its health at all. Each time i shoot him, his minions (the bug things) soak it up. However, im pretty sure they respawn after you kill them. So do you need to go up close and kill it? Also, I don't understand the guy at the right (where you can see the wilding journal) is there any way to see what wildings you need to catch for what powers? Finally, is the wilderness endless? And who is that guy at the bottom who is facing the wall? Anyway, great game. I bought it as soon as it came out. It is unreal how you make so many quality games as quickly as you do. Thanks if you answer
I think I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find the mayor? The villagers keep telling me to find him and I've talked to everyone in the village and no one says they're the mayor... The one guy gave me a quest but that's it...
You probably already talked to him if you got a quest. I don't think he will give you a quest unless you've talked to the mayor. He was on the top left of the town for me though.
Definitely equip the essences first! Summoning an essence is a secondary effect that you should use only once you stockpile more essences than you can equip, or find some duplicate essences that you don't really need. They are only summoned for that one journey into the wilderness, but can be very powerful. Their level is the same as your level. The coliseum monsters each have their own behaviors, and will require a certain amount of leveling, skills and strategy in order to win. Whatever level they are on, is basically the recommended level you should be on (so level 4-5 with some essences equipped). A crowd control ability like Burrow should help you get in the fray and kill off the blobs pretty easily. As for the scholar, yeah just talk to him and the journal will pop up. There you can see only the enemies that you have caught at least one of, and what abilities they will teach you. If you click on an ability it'll tell you how many wildlings you need to catch in order to learn the ability. As for the wilderness, yes, it is endless. The wilderness is structures like an endless rogue-like, where you can go as deep as you think you are able to. You get better and better rewards the deeper you go. Finally, you'll learn who the guy is in the bottom later in the story He's the guy in the upper left of the town, next to the fruit vendor.
loving so far. but left joystick seems to get stuck sometimes. would prefer it to be more floaty (bigger area of screen to press to love)
How do I equip the "good net" after I buy it? Is it automatic? I can't tell if I'm actually using it or not. If I am it doesn't really seem like it's much better than the basic net.
Really loving this game so far. It's a ton of fun. I've already put an hour and a half into it. My monster does 13-14 damage, which is awesome. One of my favorite FM games to date. Can't wait to play more.
Off the top of my head I can't think of any better iOS developers (in my opinion) than foursaken media. Insta-buy
I can't quite point out what's going on but I'm having trouble with the fixed stick. I seem to randomly stop moving. Awesome game btw!
Foursaken........have you ever considered pushing some of these gems to other platforms? I would love to see Heroes & Castles, Bug Heroes, Block Fortress, and Monster Adventures on my WiiU...........isn't Nintendo getting all indie friendly as of late? I see your games as being a great fit for the WiiU system in particular. I have a feeling they would do pretty well on the eShop. Your games feel like they have Nintendo style quality to them, and that is a HUGE compliment!!!! Also.......make my dream world complete....please consider adding IOS 7 controller support to your games, for, you know, all those game controllers we can't get yet. Great job once again! You guys constantly impress! Congrats and take my money! The price was too low so I'll buy some IAP. Consider it a tip
That's what I'm wondering 55% but your basic net is 50% is the good net one time use? Edit: so the basic net is 50% chane when they are under 10hp so the good net is way better Only thing I wanna know now is are he good nets one time use
