just keep catching fuzzys until you have scavenger then the orbs start rolling in (i average 1-3 a floor) and i make sure i have at least 2 or more of every temp. essence type. im only like lv 16 too.
Anyone that bought the iap's... Are the random essence any good? My gaming time is very limited and was wondering if those essence are mostly common. And what are elemental orbs.? Any good site for faqs?! Thanks!
I bought the essence pack. It was all common and 2 were duplicates. Was it worth it... yes. Otherwise it takes a while to earn enough cash for essences and by that time you would've leveled up plenty without the bonuses. I'm glad I bought it.
I got 4 uncommons, which was a really nice boost at the lvl 10 mark or so. I only had one at the time. Gonna try the autosave shutoff thing. I wanna play but I've crashed like 4 times in the ~6hrs or so I've played. Lost easily 25% of my playtime, which is more than a little frustrating. Today I tried keeping my chain going (catch 10 spikeys) but it crashed at 9 and I didn't have it in me to try again (even catching those 9 was a royal pain)
Another possible fix to crashing is cMemory app (free). Run the quick refresh frees up device Ram so u can pause game and go knto cMemory every so often and no crashes! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cmemory-memory-manage/id676608274?mt=8 Example after playing about 20 min i ran the app and went back into game continued where i left off. I feel you could keep going many hours with no crash and i haven't crashed since i started doing this. Next patch is submitted and patch list mentions crash fixes and wildernes saves so this will not likely be needed as soon as apple approves update
Crashes seem pretty common. I have had quite a few and actually just came here because the game crashed and I didn't feel like running again. I was finally trying a deep run into the meadows (I have been capturing and heading home so as not to lose due to crash). I made it to the 6th floor before the crash; how many levels are there? I had yet to find an uncommon or to see the special element seller. Where do they start dropping?
Crashed again here too. Was just about to come home because of crash fears and a mine blew up admidst about 10 shooter helpers. Crashed as big dmg numbers popped up. Crashes seem pretty consistent at around the 30min mark into a dungeon, and seems to be when it's as memory intensive moment. I'm suspecting a men leak. I ran that mem cleaner that was just posted right before playing, but it closed the game out so I was afraid to run it mid dungeon crawl. I've been at 1 gold for over a day now. I've crashed my last 4-5 runs straight, always about 30mins in near the end of a floor. Closed other apps, ran mem cleaner, turned off iCloud auto update... Nada. I wanna toss more money at you guys and I sure want to play more, but as much fun as your games are, these crashes seem to plague your games. I've probably lost more gold than I've made at this point.
Earthquake solves everything. Go invulnerable and wait it out. If you don't have that, poison cloud or time some good bolt spells when he ports near you. Try stuns.
I play on iPhone 5 and iPad 2. I've crashed, more times on the iPhone than the pad. I used to crash in battle early into the game but those have seemingly disappeared for me. There are however certain consistent crash bugs like with the fruit vendor and for my iPad 2, it'll probably crash if I leave the app or lock the screen. Deepest I've been into the meadows was level 42 on my phone and 30 while on my iPad (screenshots earlier up the thread). Deep levels have tons of enemies (think permanently red screen from all the hits). I have yet to find uncommon or rare essences in the wild. Not sure if that's intended as the only incentive for me now to go deep is to get dinga fruits to increase stats permanently. The regular essence merchant will eventually start selling uncommon and rare essences too. That's where I got most of them tbh.
I bought two packs of essences and got one rare in each and the rest common. I play on iphone 5 and ipad mini with zero crashes. I play for an hour straight on my ipad easy. Albeit I've only gone to lvl 6 in the meadows.
Which device are you seeing crashes on? I have played since release on iPhone 5, often for 2 or 3 straight hours w/o crash. Son plays on iPad 2 with similar no crashes.
What do you guys do with your dingas? Do you save them for better monsters later or just use them all up?

Is that the fruit with the permanent stat upgrade? I came close to dumping it all into my first monster and play the game with one jacked up beast. However, it became a pain to wait out HP recovery in the town. So I gave my second monster the upgrades to get it on par faster with the first monster, and play alternating between the two. Plus it'll help with the coliseum fights having another capable fighter sooner.
Thanks - I've been buying uncommons from the general essence vendor and finally saw the rare one this morning and bought both of his essences. At least I have a couple rare ones now for my second monster. I will see if I can get a couple more before leveling him.
I'm playing on an iPhone 5 as well. It seems to crash 15 minutes into dungeons, which is why I haven't been doing deep runs.
Ugh I was checking how many dingas I had to see what I lost with last crash and realized that while doing runs, it seems to use your items and save that (probably my fault for doing iCloud update manually), but obviously you lose everything you got during the run if you crash. So not only did I lose all if that xp, gold, dingas, etc, but the items I used during the runs. Bleh. Foursaken: do you guys ever toss iap's to people who have this many issues?
Continued above (was too long to post all at once) dated 10/16/2013 64. New merchant who offers a service for a cost, you can pay gold/essences to this merchant to give you a temporary buff that focuses on a increased % chance at a particular monster spawning – it doesn’t have to be anything major maybe 5-10% more of a chance at a high price, it's a easy money sink and a service those of us who are missing 1-2 monsters need because it's a luck based thing and often very time consuming to get that last few monsters. 65. Make next level portal different color if it spawns on top of white snow, (white on white isn’t very good visually) 66. Tutorial should include tips on defeating rock monsters. Many players complained their beginner game has been hindered by this. 67. Give us option if we want to enter with max amount of monsters to the coliseum. 68. Move the plant next to mayor/fruit vendor so it's easier to access and we don’t accidentally talk to Mayor or Fruit vendor. Perhaps we can find more items that allow us to move or plant on new locations of our choice. I would prefer if all my plants were in one place just to save time. 69. Get rid of the 'restart the app while talking to the king to get a different quest' exploit 70. Stop the random message guy moving through the player if the layer does not move – quoted word for word, I assume he means make the pathing/detection of obstacles work a bit better in town when standing next to moving NPC. 71. Fix 'flight' skill, the player can move through rocks and other objects 72. In CO-OP allow us to see on the map where our partner is or maybe a small arrow in their direction 73. When we level up please leave the +stats permanently unless we click somewhere, right now it just shows it for a split second and is gone before we even have a chance to see what got + and how much. 74. Braanch enemy takes 7+ seconds to spawn and often there is 2 in a room, can this spawn timer be shortened a bit? 75. Make Fire and Grass type monsters feet color animation more clear to distinguish or give us an option to turn this off completely. 76. Game save slots where we can start a brand new adventure while keeping our original game as well. 77. Idea of adding new currency called Legendary Essence dropped only from Ancient or above enemies and you can trade these in to a new NPC to get any monster part of the best quality. 78. Add a visual to the Essence/Fruit vendor that tells us when they have gotten new items (it's about every 3 hours) but when we log into game it would be nice to see a little visual above their head that tells us they got new items. That's it for now- I will update more if need arises and hope something good comes from all the above compilation/suggestions! (All done on my iPhone!) Thanks to everyone that contributed including TA user Duivs and others. * I think i figured out why some monsters show as no check mark even if we have their skill - if you unlock a skill through a monster that can be unlocked by multiple monsters, but you havent even discovered one of those monsters - then even though you have skill for that monster the first time you discover that monster (1st catch) it will not have a check-mark. Should be easy fix? I have about 4 of my monsters completion page bugged this way. 79. The essences max out at 999 - perhaps allow us to convert Essences to gold or a higher level of essence that is worth 10-100 each so we can simplify. Add more essence sinks - a great suggestion was allowing us to combine lower level parts into higher level ones with a cost of essences. 80. I think i fixed my crashing problem by using apps like cMemory which let you free up some Ram, i close all aps and run the "quick refresh" which frees up 50-100+ ram which somehow makes all the difference as i havent had a crash since i started doing this before every gaming session. Just putting it out there maybe you guys can use the info. 81. Speed up the auto targeting pivot of our monster, when we are using "auto attack" often he misses the Energy Shot or whatever fireball he is shooting because he fires even though he isnt facing the monster yet in a line... the turn speed is quite slow overall. 82. Fix the monster turn speed, same issue as above we can run around slow enemies as they cant attack us while we dance around them. 83. The king challenge to explore 4 levels of meadows fully while wearing all Spiko Essences is terribly unfair. I never find Spiko in store or wild so have 0 of the 4 pieces needed and there goes my 12 win streak. 84. Bug report: summoning ancient and blobs results in ancient pushing blobs outside of the maps just by his presence causing permanent bug to the blobs. The blobs no longer attack and wonder aimlessly off screen. Many enemies get bugged to attack blobs and sit there facing blobs not attacking and sometimes an enemy chases blobs off screen and can't be killed and doesn't come back. In that case forcing me to use escape room item or teleport to town. In below pic i actually have many blue blobs but they are pushed off screen even when i join a new map and automatically spawn at edge of screen/walk into the distance while shaking. Update 10/16 Spawning just blobs with high % chance for blue blobs results in the blobs being pushed out of the map and not attacking, making enemies stuck not attacking or following them off map where we cannot kill that mob and are stuck on that map. Can confirm it is a big even without Ancient involved. 85. See below visual bug with random white sail floating weirdly above, happens on every map. 86. Please consider changing what happens to the game after we defeat the kind, where the new king blocks off one of the maps for what seems to be 12 hours every day. For example i need to be able to play the rock map at a particular time of day when i have time but EVERY TIME i try to, i am not allowed to. Easy fix would be to allow a extra line of dialogue with the guard where we can "bribe" him to let us through. This would also be an easy money/essence sink because at end game we have far too many of them with essences easily maxing out at 999 and gold no longer being needed but continuing to pour in. 87. Consider adding elite skills to the game that can be unlocked only after you unlock all other skills. 88. New crash confirmed where you pick up a fruit next to fruit vendor and if you quickly try to talk to the fruit vendor it crashes the game. 89. The King challenge for wearing 4 of the same essence and clearing a certain map seems to be very hard to do since we cant always find them easily in the wild or at the vendor and we lose our long challenge streak with no way to complete it in 48 hours. 90. There are many skills/passives that need SERIOUS NERFING, especially in PVP. Perhaps some type of balance in competitive PVP where certain monsters are flagged as "pvp only" and their skills have different percentage and damage in PVP. 91. World chat in town, the best in game chat system i ever found on IOS was in a game called "Book of Heroes" - their chat allowed for global and legion chat and even when you are offline, it would hold a certain amount of history so you can go back and see what you missed. Perhaps it can cost in game gold or essences to send a "world chat message" - this would be a truly amazing gold/essence sink for end game and would ensure no one person can spam the chat forever. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Suggestions/feedback from Echoen below: 92. Many spells seem underpowered compared to Earthquake. 93. Forest Fire is bad compared to Poison Cloud. 94. The DOT on Poison Claws and Manta Sting could use better scaling... Unless they can stack on a target. Do they? 95. Stuns, invulnerability skills, Stone Skin and Resilience need some serious nerfing in PVP. My idea for changing Resilience is to lower the bonus defense and add a chunk of HP regen. 96. It would also make things more interesting if the passives from catching elementals gave additional bonuses like this: Inner Flame: Burn enemies with every hit for x DPS Water Bender: Recover x MP every second. Electro Charge: Increase damage by x% while moving. Grounded: Gain x% stun resistance and deal x% more damage while stationary.
