Saw the merchant for the first time today at 10am in the morning. Sadly i was at work and couldn't look any further into it. I think he is gone when i'm at home
Thanks! I finally managed to snag at least one of each now. They look so similar to the Barker and Roc wildlings that I've accidentally killed so many of them before now. Update on bugs: I now crash whenever I talk to the fruit vendor. This happened right after I got the Mana Channel ability. I force closed the app and tried again, still crashed. Hopefully the update will fix this bug.
This has happened to me a few times. I tried restarting my phone but that didn't work. Just wait it out, go run through the wild and try again and the fruit merchant should be back in business. Nekku's post gave me a heads up and I saw the hooded merch too! Bought a 4th monster and went in and out of the wild to buy 2 more rare essences. Smooth.
Hey everyone, need some help please! Where do i find the below monsters? They are my last ones i need and not sure where they are. - thanks
Erm...i just risked a quick look on the toilet lol cuz someone mentioned he saw the vendor around 10 - 11 o'clock in his timezone. So yeah, he was there I'm still at work now. Guess where i am atm...
I play at work too with one handed controls and auto attack (on the lower levels trying to catch the few rare bosses i am missing) takes forever but i get a few
Pic1: for fire mob, look in deeper Cliff level, cliff may have alot of rock at first but later have alot of fire. Also good for electric mob. pic2: same as pic 1. pic3: his name is gardoc, grass-spider. Look in forest.
Thanks, that helps alot! Actually can you be more specific on the 1,2 level? i only found one by clearing lvl 3-7 fully... sigh
I've been playing this game and riddled with crashes. Sometimes when a notification pops up I press that instead of the net button. I'm wondering what you guys did to minimize the crashes. I've been waiting for the update but Apple does not seem to give the same priority to other devs for hotfixes.
For those elementals, just keep going back through cliffs lv1-2. There aren't that many in lv3+. This is the last monster for me as well That 3rd one is another spider (one is green, other is black) and will spawn in cliffs lv3+ as well as a regular mob.
someone mentioned to deactivate the automated icloud save option and that it worked very well for him. Did u already tried that?
So for specific monsters like "grass" I have to be grass elem status to capture them? It's a pain because you do hardly any dmg while fighting grass vs grass... Then if you a different elem you can't capture it... Those blue orbs are rare to come by... You guys just load up on 60 sec switchs?
I liked the number. I think I actually died once (or twice?) when I was moving (dat Stone Skin) but got up again thanks to Guardian Angel. That bat essence is sick! I never had to use a single apple, though I did end up using a few grapefruits. And now a bit on skill balance. A lot of spells really feel underpowered compared to Earthquake. That spell lasts one entire room at lv40+, hits EVERYTHING in it, and can almost clear the room all by itself at a mere cost of 100 MP. Cooldown is understandably long. Other spells like Avalanche consume more mana but don't deal nearly as much. Forest Fire is a joke compared to Poison Cloud. The DOT on Poison Claws and Manta Sting could use better scaling... Unless they can stack on a target. Do they? Stuns, invulnerability skills, Stone Skin and Resilience need some serious nerfing in PVP. My idea for changing Resilience is to lower the bonus defense and add a chunk of HP regen. It would also make things more interesting if the passives from catching elementals gave additional bonuses like this: Inner Flame: Burn enemies with every hit for x DPS Water Bender: Recover x MP every second. Electro Charge: Increase damage by x% while moving. Grounded: Gain x% stun resistance and deal x% more damage while stationary. Nature's Boon: Heal for x every second.
I actually started off by imbuing my monster with grass so I didn't have to use consumables. It's slow at first (devs are working to improve that slow start) but it'll get easier when you start leveling up with those essences you find and use. Special improves Scavenger from Fuzzies and Experiencer from Spikeys and those do wonders for leveling!
I do not understand the reasoning for blocking off 33% of the game once you defeat the last quest/king, there is no benefit to the enjoyment of the game nor does it offer a new interesting mechanic that people will like... at this stage it is a truly horrible annoyance where i cant go catch the few monsters i need now that i have time to do it.. Foursaken Media please consider changing this in the future --- how often do maps open/close? /sigh
Only thing I see of it right now is you're forced to play a different map to *maybe* keep things fresh. Not sure on how long but it takes some time before a guard leaves. If you're really dying to get in, you could try finding a co-op game and tell the other player what you intend to do in cliffs.
