    I feel your pain...it's getting silly now I thought all new apps get to push through one update after release so I thought it would be here by now?

    Ok, from catching spidocs (I think) I managed to get 'super sprint' which increases speed by a further 25% than regular sprint.
    However, the requirements are 'fast legs', which I found out that spidocs legs are one acceptable essence, but better descriptions and details are needed in the requirements for all skills.

    But what's the deal with these 'unmentioned skills'?
    I have a feeling that they are skills that the High Scholar would give you once you catch enough of a wildlings counterparts (eg spidoc/gardoc, Tigris/panther, polleer/bloomer).
    If this is not the case, I personally think it is a good idea, as it rewards the player for catching BOTH ones instead of going for the easy one all the time (spidoc for example).

    This theory explains why the Swipe, Energy Beam, and Super sprint aren't mentioned, because I noticed all of those come from bosses with counterparts.
    It would help if someone helped me confirm this by catching some of those birds that give 'guardian angel', because that has 2 versions, as do the stratt/batt, and the tortle/firtortle

    Foursaken, if this is or will be the case, please make it that the skills can only be aquifer once you talk to the high scholar, because otherwise it doesn't make much sense.

    Updates can take weeks to be accepted by apple. Developers can push their games up the que if they have MAJOR game breaking bugs that allow people to cheat/delete all their data etc.
    If you really want to stop playing- try and act as if the game doesn't exist, and that the next update is the actual release date.
    Go buy terraria or something-that's a good way to waste time.

    The Special stat is imbalanced. Once you have that maxed out, you become invincible. Plus, you level up a hell lot faster with the EXP ability.

    I wanted to see how far I could get with my lvl99. I could have continued but it got boring. Plus I was terrified it would crash. :D

    Nice man. Sounds like a couple of hours there lol. What essences do you use? And is 999 max for stats?

    I'm still trying to hold off of leveling. Waiting on getting all the rare essences I want. At the moment, I'm just trying to get the last 2 skills but I can't find a good place to farm fire elementals

    I'm sure it's been mentioned, found a pear tree seed which I planted in the village has a Dammn regular pay off, mabaye even a little to much seems to fruit every 30 mins. Very handy!

    Sometimes your regular merchant sells pear seeds, you can buy more than 1. If you wait, they will eventually grow into Mega peaches that you can sell for some good coin. They are better than the mega grape fruits.


    Got my first crash just now. Level 19 monster, in the meadows, fighting a boss on the third floor, I had spawned about 4 spitter plants. I'm using a non jailbroken latest iPad. Up to this point, I have had no issues.

    Aw man, i accidentely did arena while my second monster on level 1 don't had any essences equipped :( Now he raised up to level 4 without bonuses *cry*

    How long lasts the EXP Ability? Is it okay if i activate it in the start of each run once? Or do i have to activate it in every room? The description isn't very clear about that.

    Ow, and it would be very cool if there would be one or two quick slots for items, so i don't have to open the menu everytime i need to use an apple

    Big fruit - 1 hour
    Mega fruit - 3 hours

    The only fruit I really use now are grapefruits. Lifesteal and all my regen keeps me up really well.

    Is it true when you level up the bonuses you get happen only once as you level up? It doesn't benefit you to level up with no essences even when you equip them?

    My understanding or at least it makes common sense that players will not be punished for having bad essences on the level up bonuses - when they equip the better essences it would retroactively boost their stats as if they had that item since lvl 1
    ?

    Anyhow that's my understanding but I'm really not sure - anyone know for sure?

    I think the answer is no. You only get the bonuses for what you're wearing. It is not retroactive. So choose wisely.

    Also, if you think you messed up too bad there are fruits you will find in the wild that will permanently increase your stats. So you can boost areas where you're lacking.

    Yes! All games should have more than one file. There's no excuse of not having enough space on a cartridge either, these are downloaded games.


    That's not how save files work. It's just remembering which items you have, your stats, progress, and whatever. It's not cloning the whole game.

    If you go to the Settings app, General > Usage, you can see how much space "documents and settings" take up. 2.9 MB for this.

    Summary of bugs and suggestions

    Continued above (was too long to post all at once)

    64. New merchant who offers a service for a cost, you can pay gold/essences to this merchant to give you a temporary buff that focuses on a increased % chance at a particular monster spawning – it doesn’t have to be anything major maybe 5-10% more of a chance at a high price, it's a easy money sink and a service those of us who are missing 1-2 monsters need because it's a luck based thing and often very time consuming to get that last few monsters.

    65. Make next level portal different color if it spawns on top of white snow, (white on white isn’t very good visually)

    66. Tutorial should include tips on defeating rock monsters. Many players complained their beginner game has been hindered by this.

    67. Give us option if we want to enter with max amount of monsters to the coliseum.

    68. Move the plant next to mayor/fruit vendor so it's easier to access and we don’t accidentally talk to Mayor or Fruit vendor. Perhaps we can find more items that allow us to move or plant on new locations of our choice. I would prefer if all my plants were in one place just to save time.

    69. Get rid of the 'restart the app while talking to the king to get a different quest' exploit

    70. Stop the random message guy moving through the player if the layer does not move – quoted word for word, I assume he means make the pathing/detection of obstacles work a bit better in town when standing next to moving NPC.

    71. Fix 'flight' skill, the player can move through rocks and other objects

    72. In CO-OP allow us to see on the map where our partner is or maybe a small arrow in their direction

    73. When we level up please leave the +stats permanently unless we click somewhere, right now it just shows it for a split second and is gone before we even have a chance to see what got + and how much.

    74. Braanch enemy takes 7+ seconds to spawn and often there is 2 in a room, can this spawn timer be shortened a bit?

    75. Make Fire and Grass type monsters feet color animation more clear to distinguish or give us an option to turn this off completely.

    76. Game save slots where we can start a brand new adventure while keeping our original game as well.

    77. Idea of adding new currency called Legendary Essence dropped only from Ancient or above enemies and you can trade these in to a new NPC to get any monster part of the best quality.

    78. Add a visual to the Essence/Fruit vendor that tells us when they have gotten new items (it's about every 3 hours) but when we log into game it would be nice to see a little visual above their head that tells us they got new items.

    That's it for now- I will update more if need arises and hope something good comes from all the above compilation/suggestions! (All done on my iPhone!) :)

    Anyone feel free to quote me and number your own additions 79, 80 etc. so we keep it nice and organized for Foursaken Media!

    Summary of bugs and suggestions

    Summary of bugs/suggestions list - updated 10/14/2013

    Dear Foursaken Media, I went back and tried to gather summary of issues players reported as well as some community and my own suggestions.

    Please respond that you have received this and keep up the good work on this amazing game!

    1. Once we "finish" the PVE section of the game I would suggest being able to Queue for PvP from anywhere and it allowing you to go play PVE while still in Que. This would assure a healthy PVP end game!

    2. Crashing is a huge issue, both in Coliseum when swapping monsters or winning as well as crashing when traveling back to town. Sometimes the coliseum freezes in between wins at the VS screen and the monsters are not animated but just frozen.

    3. Co Op - please consider tweaking co-op matching with friends so it actually works 100%. Consider adding more of a challenge mode with higher difficulty or even hardcore (dying = loss of all items or the monster?)

    4. Please consider Wild Fruit item (travel up one level in the wild) - being sold by merchants! Once we get high in power it can be quite time consuming to get to level 5+

    5. As mentioned before, a quick view visual icon on monsters we need to catch so we can know which we need and which we don't.

    6. Tweak skills and items descriptions so it's more clear what Required is by allowing an expanded information button for each skill requirement.

    7. Allow us to move the HP hud or allow a small HP bar above our monsters head or make our circle at our feet become our HO bar option

    8. PLEASE make the % above monster heads larger option

    9. What do we do with our gold end game? More money and essence sinks, also more IAP options like a $2 IAP that guarantees at least 1 top tier essence

    10. Please nerf and balance some skills especially in PvP

    11. Suggest: allow us to pay iAP to unlock "1 catch of a monster" not a whole skill but if u have 1/15 Ancient for example u can pay $1 for 1 catch - I know some players would go for it and it hurts no one -

    12. I am level 60 and still unsure what essence + means in monster essence summary/comparison screen. it really needs an interface clarification for items comparisons

    13. I would suggest that monsters in higher level difficulties do a flat 1% + damage per hit. The whole hit for 1 damage is really annoying if anything. The difficulty needs to scale more.

    14. Some maps pathing has invisible walls in areas that look crossable there are invisible walls. Perhaps look at this as sometimes items fall behind plants etc.

    15. I believe "Magnet" passive is really an amazing skill. Perhaps think about adding other skills that can not be found in the wild, or make it much harder to gather them for example 30/30 or 50/50 catches or you can pay one time $0.99 to unlock it now for convenience. This would still allow it to be available to all just another way to support developers. I know the general community frowns upon IAP but we need to support the developers too.

    16. Add into tutorial how to plant trees or add a beginner quest
    - add to tutorial that we can use skills from inventory screen in the while (even if not equipped)

    17. Please add words that specify what level of map the rescue Francis is- many many players were lost on this quest

    18. Add tips on how to get more monsters

    19. Some users report that snowy map sometimes showed black background in place of snow.

    20. Toggle option to stop pet attack on whatever you have selected while net is out. (They can still attack the rest.)

    21. Add a button for dash option, swipe can be supper annoying with touch to move control scheme! Myself and others suggested this.

    22. Please consider adding a "full screen inventory" option, rather than the current one which only utilizes about 70% of the available screen area. iPhone can be brutally small and text hard to read.

    23. Please allow for some type of anti-stun defense, it is not fun being perma-stunned! - maybe diminishing returns?

    24. Premium monster skins? Allows us IAP way to change our monsters look!

    25. Add a new item gold/essence sink which can teleport us to our highest achieved map level! I would even consider IAP for this (for those of us level 10+ It's time consuming and crash risk just traveling back up there)

    26. Health bars toggle for all monsters - I suggest the minster circle at their feet be the HP bar, the circle gets unraveled as they lose HP (think of a fuse set in a circle and set the fuse)

    27. Consider adding friend chat or world chat lobby. Maybe an in town merchant u pay to enter a chat room or something along those lines.

    28. Add skills/passives that allow us a Defense heavy monster to get damage boosts with these new skills/passives

    29. make bird helper, mole helper optional toggles

    30. Some players complained about some quests having more text than text box supported - also a larger text option toggle.

    31. Limit max amount of spitter plants, it is game breaking!

    32. Fix experiencer / magnet/ pets afk farming exploit

    33. Allow us to replay Coliseum PVE

    34. Fix pets being jittery/shaking when against a wall or your monster shaking when u tap to move against a wall, they should just stop at wall and not shake wildly. Also pets tend to drift from you - perhaps rework blob so instead of having 8 blobs u can have 3 but they shoot at a rate of 8 blobs? Less strain on the devices

    35. Fix the pushing of spitter plants by your blob pets.

    36. Do not allow us to teleport to town while in combat... It makes it too easy to escape tough situations

    37. Perhaps build in a mini-game with the farming in mind where we can build plant and maintain a garden.

    38. Allow an in town storage chest where we can store any items we may have too much of. For example I have 25 mega of each fruit and now if I find some or want to harvest more I can't! :( not fun

    39. Add a loot wheel/lottery gold/essence/real money sink with unique new parts stronger than what is available now.

    40. Allow us to Queue for Co-op and go play PVE while Que keeps looking for a player - this would be amazing and some harder challenge and unique rewards available in co-op only! New co-op achievements and quests and maybe a co-op only hard map!

    41. If game detects there was a crash previously it should give a popup that asks the player if they wish to visit a support forum tips thread that teaches them to clear background open apps and restart phone etc.

    42. Official Monster Adventures wiki and forums???

    43. Please consider making this game more friendly option for color blind people.

    44. Allow us to stop our attack skill on the auto target and attack enemy control scheme- perhaps I don't want the punch or cast to always be on in some situations I can just tap on that skill once again to make my monster stop attacking.

    45. Recruit a friend program with in game unique rewards!

    46. Facebook integration.

    47. Further money sink and essence sink customization like runes or tablets that hive specific boosts.

    48. More in game music added

    49. Add a skill that costs a lot of mana but makes our target instantly more susceptible to be caught regardless of their HO/our net

    50. Allow us a way to sort monsters we know by type (fire, water, rock etc.). Also allow us to hide known ones.

    51. Allow a toggle to help us sort our monster essences or even allow us to rename them. For example the passive/skills that Require: certain essence wording should tell us specifically which monster essence on what body part.

    52. Players have complained Mayor challenge rewards do not get much better or are otherwise too small.

    53. Please consider a skill or IAP purchase that enables a passive chance to catch monsters after u kill them. This 5-10% chance would allow us to focus on adventure and action rather than slow it all down by using net all the time.

    54. Some monsters show as complete while others do not show the complete checkbox even though we have caught all of that monsters skills. Users report various monsters are bugged, for example for me it is Manta and Spidoc show as no checkmark while I have all their skills while other users have them correctly and show other monsters as incorrect.

    55. Fix the town glitch near alchemist that allows you to walk outside the map or push another NPC into there

    56. The spitter plant encyclopedia description needs a touch-up with more details I assume

    57. Phosphect and crabsect move funnily when using clawgrab, also our own crab grab skill needs to be made to look more natural.

    58. Enemies clawgrab can place you outside the map sometimes, I experienced that myself in the snow area map where they pushed me off the bridge and it took me a whole minute to get out.

    59. Sometimes you get stuck in rock area map where a giant rock is in your way towards the teleporter room and no matter what you do (including circling edges of map in every direction) you cannot enter that map square. It has happened to me 3 times so far and I was forced to use Wild Fruit to progress.

    60. Elemental rangers and elementals should look a bit different – for example Bolt Elemental and Bolt Ranger is nearly 100% identical and hard to distinguish in the wild.

    61. Allow us to sort skills and passives based on type of attack or possibly allow us to “hide from main list” any particular skill or passive. For example there are some truly useless skills like for example personally I would never consider using Slime Ball but it takes up a space .

    62. Allow us ability to give up a kings challenge quest.

    63. Fix enemy pathing so they are not allowed to go through the colloseum wall or not allowed to go off map into vegetation in solo wild.

    No no no! We bought the game already, so taking away stuff we already bought is not cool! And it would be annoying anyway to take away features!

    What's so super-useful about it? Is it pulling items to you? This sort of upgrade shows up in many games. I would be really irritated to have to buy such a thing, especially considering I already bought the game, and it's already in the game.
    It's not right.


    Tell me you are not doing anything like this.

    Hi guys, is there any way to delete a monster? I have 3 monster now but 1 of them got leveled while I did a arena and it wasn't equip with any essense, damn.

    Hi dev, please allow us to delete monster. At times we may pump wrong stats for monster and it need to be deleted haha.
