The passive skill Mana Channel has a broken description. Commenting on ChaosProdigy's extensive list. 4) don't sell wild fruit or people with a lot of gold will just buy their way to the top of the leaderboard. A workaround could be to set a limit on the number of wild fruifs you can use in a run or once every few floors. You can also add a fruit that sends you up to a random floor between 5-10, maybe purchaseable eith elemental essences? 8) lower catch chance values overhead are hard to see on an iPhone 10) have to specify which skills beed rebalancing. Resilience definitely needs some nerfing. I'll make my own list of rebalancing suggestions later 11) "pay to catch" sounds greedy. It'll sell but the thought makes me cringe 13) 1%+ damage per hit will kill fast in deep dungeons where you get zerged in every room. Poison works really well against you so I think that could be used along with stronger burns 14) items fall behind plants... Yeah it was a problem early on but Magnet fixes that. 23) yes to anti-stun or stun breaker! Force Wave would be good for this purpose. 25) that 'return to highest map level' will break the leaderboards 32) never thought about this strat for afk leveling. Sounds awesome 36) NO 37) no farm simulator pls 39) please don't suggest pay to win ideas when there is PVP in a game. A money sink however is needed. I'd like to suggest being able to upgrade essences with gold + elemental orbs 50) essence sorting, yes!
I'm saying that taking something that wasn't an IAP and turning it into one is not right. Plus the game already cost money, so that would be like they're just trying to take even more money from the people who bought it. It would be taking away something they already bought. Stuff to buy is fine, as long as I don't have to buy it.
Interesting. This happened to me with the 2 spiders Gardoc and Spidoc. I have both skills too but there's no check mark on their names. I got the Manta checked off though. Edit: I tried catching some more spiders and their names were finally checked off. 5 skills to go!
Best skills to use early on? So far I only use Energy shot... not really finding many other skills practical.
Foursaken please read this Ok the bugs/things that need improvement/ things I would like in the game I know of so far are: Hole near alchemist that allows you to walk outside the map The spitter plant encyclopedia description needs a touch-up The 'volcane eruption' skill doesn't include the 'requirements' 'Volcane eruption' could be renamed to 'volcano eruption' as it can be acquired from multiple enemies Skills that have requirements should say all the possible required essences (eg instead of just Barker, say Barker or Eadoken) Phosphect and crabsect move funnily when using clawgrab Enemies clawgrab can place you outside the map sometimes Elemental rangers and elementals should look a bit different Crashes (obviously) Be able to toggle passive abilities Be able to 'give up' a kings quest Enemies can go into the temporary tile barriers slightly Make equipping essences more like when buying from the merchant- so you can select an essence and easily see the difference on all body parts, instead of having to go into each body part separately Teleport friendlies to you when entering any tile (not just ones with enemies) Be able to set GOALS, for example setting a skill as a goal, so that any enemies that will progress towards that goal have a different coloured catch percentage or something Make the 'next level' portal a bit different, as it is hard to see in the snow land Be able to sort our essences by stats Be able to open up a kind of journal or encyclopedia while in the field so we can see what we have caught on the run, and how much we need until we unlock a skill Be able to sort the encyclopedia/Scott to see completed, uncompleted etc Show the total amount caught next to the wildlings description Make a limit to the amount of spitter plants spawnable Give some hint about how to overcome rock types- maybe make the random message guy tell you about breaker punch Make a skill that will always deal less than or equal to 20 (or some other low value), so strong people can catch lower ranked wildlings More areas! Also, please change the colour of the ring around enemies to be more distinct- I can hardly tell the difference between fire and ground! I even go as far as using my net to get the 'your the wrong type' message to tell me what type it is
I found one more bug! It's a really odd one though- if you walk into the Next level portal so the popup comes up confirming iffy of want to proceed, and if you KEEP HOLDING the move button (or maybe it was the attack button) and press the 'spitter plant' skill, the background will not be dimmed anymore. Doesn't affect the game or anything, but just putting it out there.
Chaos Prodigy made good points but i completely disagree with more IAP options!!! Pls don't make this game a pay2win game!
I'm just a big supporter of optional iAP, where in my post did any of the suggestion have anything to do with PVP balance??? Supporting developers as awesome as Foursaken shouldnt be frowned upon...
Foursaken: please also consider adding character save slots, so we can start a new game without losing the old one
My view on IAP is that if it's COMPLETELY optional, like the '10 essence pack', then that's ok- however, IAP that can boost you up the leaderboards, almost required to be bought to win a game or be part of the leaderboards, or for things that aren't available for all users (like premium currency or 'the best essence') are completely absurd and from what I have come to learn and love from Foursaken Media, they will not put in IAP that will ruin the game for the buyer, or others.
This game has a fair bit of content, and making multiple saves where there are about 3 monsters each, all of which are equipped with different essences and such is seen as a bad idea for most game developers for iOS.
I have some suggestions for future updates. 1)Implementing legendary essenses that can only be traded by tokens dropped from elite monsters. 2)Having elite monsters like ancients, maybe 10times harder than ancient, the elite ancients (pure gold in color is cool) to be spawn randomly at every low chances after stages 5 n above. Each of these elite monsters will then drop some form of token, 1 token per gold monster. 3) These token can then be traded for legendary essences stated in point 1. Maybe 100 tokens+50000 coins (don't wanna make coins useless) for 1 legendary essense. 4)to make it harder, legendary essense can only be purchased from the secret trader and they appear randomly too. With these 4 points, players will then spend endless of hours to grind and venture deeper to find elite bosses and probably this game can be played a very very long time just to get a full set of legendary essenses. For now, grinding is for coins and the coins is for rare essense. Focus is more on gaining coins, which is boring. Focus should be farming elite bosses just like every other mmorpg and for their epic loots (the token I mentioned). Thanks for hearing.
Giving this min stars here and on tunes until the crashes are fixed. A rogue like that looses all progress when it crashes, and does so frequently is a broken product in my book. I certainly can't bear investing any more time only to see my progress ripped from my grasp, cursing and crying as my loot and precious game time slip away from me like broken promises...
how come? other offline/single-player RPG's are doing it - DH4, IB3, etc. even PvZ allows you to switch profiles. i would understand it if it's online multiplayer, say Guardian Cross or Clash of Clans, where you need identity persistence...so why not?
GUYS THE MERCHANT IS THERE RIGHT NOW. not sure if it's different for everyone whenever he appears, but for me he just appeared. I was buying things at the regular essence guys store and when I had just bought a rare eadoken piece he was there once I had closed the vendor. U MAD BRO?! Oh well he was just selling stuff I didn't want, including a monster lol. By the way, I have seen a lot of people only have 3- including the one they got from the merchant. I have three, however I didn't buy one- and I can still get one from the merchant. Don't read the following if you haven't been in the snow world. Serious. Don't ruin it for yourself. I got mine by Spoiler 1. Looking in the well (obviously) 2. Exploring level 3 at cliffs 3. After finding the raiders leader on snow level 3(?), I kept hitting the essence but it put on a permanent shield (I don't think it can be killed), so I killed the leader and when I got back to town there was a monster under the tree which the character says is the raider leaders' monster in spirit form.
I wasn't mainly talking about PvP balance. I didn't even mentioned it once in my post. Example: - Magnet Skill IAP-only - extra chance to catch a monster after it dies for IAP - Chance of dropping a rare essence for IAP (this gambling mechanic is persistent in most freemium games) Seriously? I don't want any IAP-only items in this game, that's it. If u want to support the developers then buy the 10 essences pack a couple of times. Done. Or look at Junk Jack X. They have an support IAP where u can show ur love to the devs. If they implement that, okay.
