Here is a tip for reducing crashes: Uninstal any games u aren't playing, reinstall Monster Adventures, restart phone. Play MA and do not play any given time more than 20 min maybe 15 if 4s
Any word on when we can expect a patch? Game is currently unplayable on my iPad and I just can't bring myself to play it on my phone
Ok, I've got my iPhone back today and played this for a while. I'm lvl 20, I have 2nd monster, Colliseum divison 3. When you read this forum it looks like it crashes a lot but it does NOT. Not even single time Also I can play this and clash of clans and MA does not restart when I switch back - multitasking is working well iPhone 5, latest iOS (7.0.2 I think)
Is there an easier way to catch monsters that r not your elemental status other than using the 60 sec elem buff?
As u get more items and skills unlocked it's more likely to crash, wait until u get to lvl 50s and tell me if it doesn't crash at all - also i started crashing more often when returning to town since i planted 6 trees in town. Maybe developers can look into code or need some crash reports?
So, today in the morning i've started an project called "Project: Secret Vendor". I logged in every hour since morning till now. 15 hours as of yet and the vendor didn't show up once! This guy is obviously only around when i'm at sleep. Seriously? I rly need an Dev here telling me when the vendor appears. I kept tons of gold just for this vendor. It's driving me crazy
Invest some 10,000 gold for best available catching net at the fruit vendor it gives 70% catch chance for monsters under 250HP You can also spend 4 essence to become a particular element and then catch those particular monsters and kill rest.
So I'm level 9 and have 2 extra essences. If I use them for pets, how long do they last? Just one trip in and back to town, permanent or until they die? Just trying to plan when to use them.
Warning to those having trouble catching things: DO NOT GET BIRD AND MOLE HELPER! They are immortal allies that spawn with you and cannot be recalled. They can kill stuff by themselves and that can screw you over on low health mobs.
I may be thinking about the wrong thread but I believe the developer asked for crash reports several pages back. What device are you on? I've been fairly deep in the meadow with over 3000xp stacked up and never even had a hick up. The only reason I went back to town was because I was getting afraid of dying not crashing. That may not have been as far as some of you guys have been but I'm not experiencing any problems. From what I've seen of posts it appears that the devices that are having problems are on older hardware like the iPad mini, 4S and some older iPods. Based on that it sounds like a memory issue. I'm sure there's some optimization that can be done to clear this up.
What do you mean immortal? They spawn every time you go into the wild? Also, what do you mean by helper? Is this an essence? A passive ability? Not sure I'm completely following you. On a separate note, when fighting in the colosseum are you fighting against a computer generated team or are you fight against a real team? Maybe not a real live person but maybe there monsters. Every time I get matches against someone they always have a ridiculous amount of health. It's always like 3 times what I have.
Oddly enough, I don't recall crashing on my iPad 2 but I'm always worried about crashing on my iPhone 5 as it's happened around 5 time already. One specific crash I recall happened shortly after I received an email notification. Frame rate went down by a few then it was bye bye exp.
So do you guys have a favorite essence? I haven't played for a while, Duet's had my attention. This might be my favorite Foursaken game. I can't wait till they get multiplayer working, it's a shame it's so unstable. Foursaken really are the kings of coop! ..... Bug Heroes 2 with coop? (;
They are passive abilities. They spawn upon your arrival on a floor and do not take damage. That hit there was by my mole helper--the brown thing following me. We should be able to toggle passives. Edit: the bird is a beast. It hits for around half of the mole's attack but at a much faster rate and moves quickly

Favorite essence: Batt/Stratt. That lifesteal is juicy. I've got some ideas for 2 other pets but I'll wait till I unlock all the skills before I start leveling them. My first pet is Special-based since Scavenger and Experiencer use that stat and I want to use it for farming. My next one will use attack instead and the other will be a tanky caster. Speaking of the rare merchant, does he change stocks on a daily basis or once every few days? He's been selling the same thing and I don't like what he has. I bought all 3 already and he refuses to give me anything else :|
Ye of course ...IF i can figure it out. Wow, awesome abilities, imo. Less for catching monsters but i bet they will totaly rock in PvP/Coloseum" Maybe for an PvP/Coloseum-only monster?
