No crashes for me, iPhone 5 iOS 7 with about 2 hours in. I also received a phone call from the wife during play and didn't loose progress, so maybe that problem is device specific?
No I hear you... we didn't encounter any issues like this in all of our testing, but you can't simulate going 100% live, unfortunately. HOWEVER, the next update we think we've stomped some (if not all) crashing, AND we've put in a fail safe where it will now save your game in the wilderness, so if it crashes or whatever you will at least be able to boot it back up and get back (relatively close) to where you were. We're really sorry about the issue! Lol, that is YOU. He's following your monster around so that he can talk to Francis when you find him. I think there's some dialog that explains it? Earth monsters have high defense - you need to use breaker punch to effectively bash through their defense! You can learn breaker punch from catching enough crabs.
When is the update going to be out where you think you've got the bugs? A save per wilderness floor or whatever you've done would be helpful if it did load back to this. My game I won't be touched now until the update : ( I even deleted and reinstalled it actually crashes more now! And a new one on me is using a yerpa fruit and it decides to close the game every time instead.
Rebooting devices made my crashes go away. Maybe it is a memory issue. The game also drains my battery pretty, although i cannot be certain if it is due to the game hogging resources or me spending too much time on it.
I was doing poorly in this game until I read this thread and realized it was unlike Pokemon and you need to catch multiples of the same bad guys. Once I started doing this and getting new Active/Passive abilities I have been kicking butt. All I want to do is play one more round!
Few issues Awesome game as ever by Foursaken. I have come across a few problems though. Firstly, I can no longer enter the Coliseum. I had no problem with Divisions 1 and 2, but after I lost my first attempt at 3 I have been unable to get past the loading screen. I've tried turning my phone off and all the usual stuff. I'm on an iPhone 5 with the latest iOS. Secondly, I am having serious problems vs. Rock monsters. It's probably because my monster is imbued with Bolt, but I feel the disadvantage is too severe. Although I'm pretty sure I've also tried using other elements vs. Rock too. Despite +92 Special I only do 1 damage with any attack, yet when the elements are at my advantage (i.e vs Water), my damage just doubles. It has got to the point where I just leave whenever I see a few Rock monsters to save myself kiting for 5 minutes with blobs. Apart from these concerns I'm loving the game.
It's because most rock monsters have a super high defense. You gotta use the Breaker Punch ability, ya feel? That punch ignores their defense stat so u can demolish them like bang bang
Just to add balance I'm playing on iPhone 5S with latest IOS and I haven't had a single issue in over six hours play. Plays perfectly (touch wood). Not a single crash or glitch of any description so far. Also I didn't hard reset or shut down background apps or any of that either.
I was a bit lost, too, at first. when you first enter meadowlands, kill everything for the portal to pop up. THEN you can start trying to catch the blobs. once you have low HP, just go back to town. talk to Scott(?), rinse, repeat. dont buy Apples, just stand near the portal. better to save up for Common essences or buy a good net
I'm hoping maybe you could create a save game button inside the menu? That along with the auto save you mentioned coming for the wilderness would help with any crashes until those bugs are nailed down.
Does that in shop net make a noticable difference? How long will it be viable or is that the only 2 nets in the game?
