Well I'm skeptical of all the bugs people found in the game. Also crashes, I don't want that to occur in the game when I play.
Also is there a way to make your monster truly different from another persons monster?
How do the stats work for the monsters? Do you raise them your self when leveling up or does it do it itself?
It looks fun don't get me wrong, I just want to have a game that could make the player be different from others.

My biggest question, how the head do you kill the earth monsters in the cliffs??? I've tried fire and grass against it, but it still only takes one damage per punch. It's quite annoying. It takes waaaaay to long to kill one, is there a certain element that could kill it faster?

Stat is pretty unique for every player.
Stat increase at lvl up, but how much is determined by the equipment we are equiping at that moment. So if you have rare equipment early on-> huge advantage.

Well that's where all the depth comes in. Your base stats raise every time you level up (I'm pretty sure) but then for every Essence (head, body, arm, or leg piece) levels up differently. I'll try and hook u up with a screenshot by what I mean. I haven't experienced any crashing or bugs other than that there's no multitasking (no biggy, they'll get it in there). So basically every persons monster is entirely unique to another persons.

I'm crying bc I just spent 10 mins describing 4 pics I attached but then I went into MA to get one more pic and yeah, the no-multitasking affects the other apps too.

Here are the pics. Give me a moment while I cry then I'll explain

I'm playing on the 4s with an upto date iOS, I always close everything in multitasking before playing games or if I'm not using my phone for a while. Playing in airplane mode as I get no signal where I live but don't see why that should affect it.

I've yet to encounter either on my iPhone 4, so it's not all laden skies across the whole board :)

With 44 (!) different active abilities (and another passive 31, for good measure), of which you can only have 4 equipped at any point in time, there is a VAST number of combinations and resulting character builds.

The fact that these abilities get stronger depending on what stats you focus on when you level up (see answer further below) further ensures that players can't switch freely between any combinations of abilities and expect their monsters be proficient. In the higher echelons of competitive play, I expect the way you have leveled your stats, and what abilities you select in tandem, to make a massive difference (through probably nowhere near the effects of player skill).

Levelling raises stats, BUT by how much depends on what essences you have equipped. In practice, this means that you raise the stats yourself through planning and character building. Since these stats have a secondary benefit through the way they empower abilities (see above), this process is essential to creating a powerful beast.

I concentrated on running away and netting blues. Punch the flurries and red blobs first to get them off your butt. Once you can summon your own blobs, staying alive becomes much easier.

    Alright, attempt #2

This shows how your stats will increase when you level up, indicated by those numbers with the plus signs next to them.

This shows how my Tortle head will increase my stats when I level up.

Alternatively, if I had this Bolibird head equipped when I leveled up, this is how it would increase stat-wise. (Haha you an see why I use the Tortle head not this)

For anyone that wanted to know, you tap the little question mark next to the Essence name in the equip screen to get this little stat screen.

Then in the merchant menu all of an Essence's stats are explained in the top right, including the Essence's base stats.

    Hope this convinces you haha

thing is, only people having problems will post about their crashes, so it will look worse than it really is. :) i'm running 6.1.3 on an iPad2 and have never had any crashes. and yes, i do close all other tasks i don't need anymore

a lot of iOS7 users seem to be experiencing the crash. it could be the OS, could be the game's compatibility with it. and the crashing-when-receiving-a-call-or-text, that also happened with SE's Guardian Cross and players learned to switch to airplane mode (yeah, that sucks - disabling cellular on your MOBILE lol)

Yes, with elements. You must imbue your monster with Grass which is strong against Rock but weak against Fire. You can go to the alchemy wizard-looking guy and imbue your monster with it or you might find an item that does this for a limited period of time. But Grass is what you want to put the Rock guys down.

Each element has a strength and weakness so it's important to always take these into consideration.

Edit: I see you've tried grass. I'm not sure why that wouldn't work.

Also to anyone on the fence in fear of crashing issues, I'm running MA on an iPhone4 (iOS 6.1) with ZERO issues. No crash, not once.

Alright, having some serious connection issues with Coop. I have 3 bar wifi in my house, Not sure about RichRuzz. Tried to play together 4 times or so and one of us lost connection upon entering every time.

PvP has worked fine with me for the 2 times I've played

I tried on 3 bar WiFi myself on my iPad4, then I tried also on my iPhone 5 over 4G and WiFi and still had the same issues with you. :/ I played with a random before with no issues (but eventually desynced) but we would connect then it'd instantly drop.

In the auto attack option the catching net fires too far from a enemy and always misfires no matter what in certain situations (not miss just not even hit the monster as it will throw net too far from monster)
