In anticipation of Molecular soft launch on August 18, i'm giving out some codes for you folks here at Touch Arcade to play the game in advance. N3RH6ELHNM6E 3JA3N4XA6TXT KHRFAXMYWHWF 9TJ3XWAMRM47 ****************************************************************************************************************************** Available on August 18 in the following countries : Italy, United State, Canada, Australia, U.K., and Germany ****************************************************************************************************************************** First of all : Molecular is not a clone, copy and so on of Threes game. The graphics was inspired by threes game because it's simple and funny but the game play is totally different. In Molecular there are two game mode : - Best Score - Level Up In the Best Score mode the goal is to create more molecules as you can, combining tiles together. In Level Up mode the goal is to complete each level, each one with different objectives. The game is close to be completed and at this time i'm working on the levels design (the goal is 100 levels in the first version)
I'm intrigued by your first picture, really interested in seeing what the mechanics of this game are.
Looks cool, I'm always up for games like this. Maybe to avoid Threes criticism you could pick different colors. Or offer theme options.
Finally there is a launch date. August 18 in the following countries : Italy, United State, Canada, Australia, U.K. and Germany
Molecular has been approved. I have updated the first post with some promo codes, to play the game in advance before the launch.
Thanks for the code. I like the concept but I'm not sure it's going to keep me hooked long term. It could really do with a tutorial but I think I've got it all worked out now. My main issue is that one mistake can wipe out a huge chunk of the board and there's no way to recover from it. The ability to occasionally remove a tile or reduce it's value by one would help here. It feels particularly unfair in the levels mode. There are only about 4 spots in level 1 where you can place a 4 tile, so if you get a few fours early on you have to put one near an edge and the level's unfinishable. I didn't discover that until I'd played for several more minutes though and thought I'd met the level criteria, only to be told that I had to clear the board.
