Treyarch doesn't make games on the iPod. Vicendi games just ported Nazi zombies. I doubt they're going to make a game type on the iPod before the console.

That's to bad. Do you think there could be a chance that we could turn off the zombies and shoot each other cuz I love the controls of cod and that would be sweet

Eliminate just didn't seem right. The controls are workable, the graphics good, I didn't even care about buying credits. But there's no strategy in the game. No "ahaha, I just totally fragged that dude" satisfying moments. And the maps were too darn small.

Yep. I think MC: Sandtorm is better than Eliminate on the singleplayer alone.
MC: Sandstorm feels like the first and only 'true' FPS with a console-like experience. Eliminate just feels like an arcade/minigame of a FPS.

I didn't find the campaign to be that great in MC:S, and I don't think that should be used as a point of comparison between the two games.

From my personal experience Eliminate works well just about anywhere. I haven't had the matchup issues that some of you have. The upgrades keep it interesting, and it is free.
MC:S multiplayer doesn't work for me. If I can't play the game over some standard issue router from the phone company that is a problem. I walked around by myself on a couple of the maps and it seems well designed. Hopefully they make some updates and there can be a fair comparison.

For now Eliminate is the only option. Of course COD:Zombies is great but that isn't what we're talking about. I know I am not the only one with these problems, and I realize it is working for some people.

I'm giving Gameloft the win this time. Ngmoco really need to fix the controls. Neither is console quality or that great though.

Eliminate and MC:Sandstorm both have big problems in online mutliplayer, MC:Sandstorm one has so many bugs it's a bag of $hit and eliminate with you getting killed by people in one shot and you have to shoot them 5 times to kill them makes that a bag of $hit. The good thing is tho gameloft can fix there problem.

For now, I'm leaning towards Eliminate. I like the upgrade system but I agree that matching is terrible. I sometimes play with my girlfriend's account. I'm level 12 with that account and it keeps matching me with players level 26-30. It takes me loads of clips just to kill them and they kill me with their overpowering rocket launchers almost instantly.

My main account is level 50, so no problem there.

    +1 for ELIMINATE!

I go with ELIMINATE for because i trust the devs. NGMOCO didn't sugar coat anything prior to its release and they have delivered exactly what they said regarding everything ELIMINATE and everyone here can agree that the Dev's are making the game better constantly. They are very interactive with the community, They take in regards all of our criticism as well as suggestions. Has MCS done this yet? NO! It gives me a sense of comfort knowing that things are being worked on for the better of the game constantly.

Sure MCS has a campaign mode and yes MCS wins in that area no doubt all around. 2vs2 co-op deathmatch is nice but once ELIMINATE updates with one we will see the same thread and ELIMINATE will win with flying colors. I also have a strong feeling once the online MCS bug is fixed that will most likely be the last update we see as previously stated. Hell look how long it took them to release this update? Has anyone heard from them regarding the bug yet? I haven't. NGMOCO would have interacted with the community within minutes to an hour letting us know they are aware of a bug and are fixing it as we speak. NGMOCO has also updated in real time, as well as answer most if not all questions and concerns within a timely manner. whether its a post in the forums or a pm directly to MGMOCO. They are on top of they're ish.

Realistically I see ELIMINATE going further beyond as well with added content updates, bigger more diverse levels, possibly a single player mode, Additional Armor, Additional weapons, 2vs2 games, and yes i do love ELIMINATES controls better. I strongly believe that i don't see anything close to this in regards to MCS. Just my opinion.

They are both great games that serve they're purpose well. I do not discredit MCS in anyway (as the game is right now) but in comparison to both games and Dev's track records; NGMOCO and ELIMINATE win with flying colors. They have a lot more passion for they're games and their actions speak louder than words. Is this not obvious? ;)

i hate multiplayer with powerups because then you have people waiting around the shield untill it spawns again. that problem is gone with sandstorm multiplayer.

There is a solution to every problem. Those people tend to die the quickest, After a few consecutive deaths. They figure out shield guarding gets them no where playing against me. In fact they make the easiest kills because instead of focusing on other players as they should. They get owned from over-thinking the b.s. shield is they're only/main way to victory.

    What? No poll?

Anyway, Eliminate is my choice. Sure it has its problems, but at least it works.

    MC sandstorm

MC Sandstorm has an awesome 10-mission campaign of 4 difficulties, PLUS a fresh new multiplayer. It is 200 MB, 4x bigger than Eliminate. Plus, controls and graphics are WAY better. That's why MCS is 5 bucks and Eliminate is free, with in-game scams along with it too.

Modern Combat OWNz Eliminate hands down.

I like that i don't need to pay through the nose to play and FPS should be based on skills, not some lame character ranking shit. Eliminate just plain fails and the levels are lame and short. Some games end under 1 min. Which moron designed that, they should fire him rightaway. I'm sure eliminate will fade away once Nova comes out. Oh, i'm pretty sure i won't need to keep paying to play on Nova too.
