The MP matches are quick and no lag on my iPhone 7+. There has been a lot of input lag and crashes on my 6+. May need a better device for good gameplay. Also it uses the ubiquitous ca$h royale chest system (aka punishes you for playing and guarantees no money will be spent on it....by me). Dead zone in lower left hand corner. Forces you to move your thumb awkwardly high and right to be able to move. Too uncomfortable to play unless it’s fixed. There's little to no point in playing more than 4 matches a day, cuz there're only 4 slots for boxes, every box needs ~3 hrs to unlock if you play with all slots taken then you'll raise your rank to the point where all enemies you encounter marked with "higher level agent" and you need to spend twice the time to kill them then they need to kill you (which is super annoying IMO). I can understand how this chest system could work for skins, card battlers, or gatacha rpgs, but it's pretty shitty way to monetize fps multiplayer shooter. Monetization aside - the game looks really good and shooting mechanics are pretty fun. Sadly, I don't think that the game is gonna stay on my phone/ipad for long. Is there a way to change that? walmartpolice Well-Known Member May 12, 2012 162 0 0 #17 walmartpolice, Sep 28, 2017 This is factually incorrect. If Clash Royale didn't have a good F2P model, it wouldn't be one of the most popular free to play games on the planet. RoboWarrior Well-Known Member Oct 3, 2012 658 0 16 #19 RoboWarrior, Sep 28, 2017 Game runs pretty well and looks decent (better than MC5) on my iPhone 6, though the game is definitely pushing its limits. After about 2-3 matches I have to let the device cool down since the game causes the SOC to thermally throttle. Significant FPS drops are noticed but given the chest limits and timers not really an issue. Will try with Power Saver mode on to see the decreased clock speed would keep the device cooler longer without sacrificing frame rate. stlredbird Well-Known Member May 21, 2009 1,354 0 36 #20 stlredbird, Sep 28, 2017 This is a lot of fun but its in dire need of more game modes. One thing i absolutely love is not having a fire button. To me this is the only viable way to have an fps on touch screen. Are there any other fps like this with auto fire?
