the game is already done guys!! they are probably not working on it anymore.. the delay probably has somehting to do with approval..might not even be gameloft who are delaying it. and it is not possible to make a multiplayer in 2 weeks it will take at least a month or 2 before a playable multiplayer is made. (relpy to the dude who thought that's why they were delaying it)

Well, I will buy it when I can, but because of the delayed release date, I bought NEX, and now I don't have enough credit. (and I don't know when I will)
STOP SCREWING AROUND LAMELOFT!!! I demand a release date for modern combat sandstorm! I used to love gameloft. I used to think they were cool, well not so much anymore. What they did was shoot themselves right in the foot. First I heard about modern combat was august 4th... with a trailer, and a COMING SOON at the end of it. I thought of it must be a few weeks away, as in SOON. HOW SOON IS SOON GAMELOFT? one week? one month? one year? I dont trust game companies anymore and Im not buying modern combat untill gameloft stops spreading these lies and tells the truth for once. Oh and there wont be multiplayer with the launch date guys, you should know that from the history of gameloft games. nice work lameloft, you just lost a customer.
We already knew multiplayer wasn't coming at launch. It's delayed, get over it. It's probably some huge bug that apple rejected, so they'll have to resubmit.
I have a feeling this thread will reach 1000 pages and then gameloft will say, sorry! It's still not ready! Just because they can.
i still think that the haters are so few, this game will beat records in many ways! can't wait to see it and if it is as good as i think it will be ,then ''chapeau'' to the dev team.

The exact same thing happened with Rolando 2. When they missed their launch the forums exploded with people talking about how much they hate ngmoco, how they're never buying another ngmoco game ever again, how Rolando 2 is terrible, how they can't stand being lied to, etc. The fact of the matter is the App Store is a mysterious beast, and Apple as its handler is even more mysterious. For all we know the game got rejected for one reason or another and Gameloft is making the changes Apple requested and is resubmitting. Or Apple could have asked them to hold their launch because they want to launch the game along with the 3rd generation iPod Touch that will likely be revealed at their press conference on the 9th. Or 100 other things we could barely begin to speculate happened. At the end of the day, if you find yourself being upset by this, you need to step back take a deep breath, and hopefully realize it's only a video game. New games come out on the App Store every single day, so it's not like Modern Combat is some hot 360 game and nothing else is coming out in between now and when it's released. The same thing will happen with Modern Combat that happened with Rolando 2-- Everyone will nerd rage over the delay, swear that they're finished to Gameloft, then post about how awesome Modern Combat is in the "It's Out!" thread. In other words-
Well said. I'm disappointed for the delay of course, but I highly doubt that Gameloft did it intentionally to piss people off.
