I can say that the killstreaks will not be controllable in the way that one expects controllable killstreaks in any other game without having played the game. (more than tapping a point on a map) And I never criticized gun balancing, since that's something one really can't judge without having played the game. Regarding the graphics my main point is that they don't look like much of an improvement in the multiplayer (but do in the singleplayer, which makes it weird) over previous games (Has anyone proven otherwise?) and that gameloft could have used those resources spent on Ambient Occlusion on the iPhone 5S (which as most PC gamers will probably know is the last thing you turn on) for other effects.
I might turn out to be wrong on that part, you never know. Perhaps I'm just reading how it has changed from MC4 and misreading it as not being possible. Hard to know without the game in hand. As long as it is not as easy as it was, I can live with that. The damage numbers are accurate though so it will make quick scoping an uninjured enemy not the wise choice or at least force one to aim for the head if attempting it. Which will require skill, which again I wouldn't really be opposed to.
Yeah I guess, but heres a bolt action sniper with practically a full damage bar. I cant imagine it not being able to 1 shot the recon and assault classes from the waist up.
One thing that's cool is that there is 5 sniper rifles, while MC2 and MC3 only had 2. This should offer more variety, and hopefully the different rifles excel in different things, instead of just being reskins of the same gun.
I personally think this is looking good (yeah it's not perfect but let's be honest it could have turned out awful and free to play), also no matter how in depth a gameplay video is we wont truly grasp the quality of this game until it's actually in our hands. looking forward to release!
On the map Rooftops, the fog will go away 1:15min into the game and it'll come back after 1:30mn. And that cycles throught the whole match. So I'm guessing people will start playing inside the level when the fog comes, and when it goes away people will continue their firefights out ontop of the roof. It would be cool to see the good players treat is like the weapons respawn timers in halo lol. When the time hits go to the weapon spawn (inside/outside)
Lol heck no! I'll be at the lower level of the map if you're looking to kill me Also are you guys going to play the campaign first? Or hop straight into multiplayer? I personally think I'll unlock a few sp and guns in the single player before hopping into the multiplayer.
I think in gonna play multiplayer about to te point where I know all of the maps, then I'll start the campaign. Also, do we know any other spesific dynamic map pieces? (like the fog)
My rough plan is to play some single player to sort out control layout etc... Then hit up the MP in the evening. Followed by: Die a lot, Change my weapon layout because I have no idea what I'm doing, Die a lot, Change it back again because actually what I had first was much better, Die less,Repeat until I start killing more than dieing.
Actually can you play the campaign w/o Internet connection? Cause I'm moving the day after MC5 comes out.
Not at launch, which has been a sticking point for a lot of people. You need to always be online to play - prevents hackers and also to allow their unified progression system. Another reason why I will be SPing it first. I won't have a very fast internet connection until the evening
By the looks of it Rooftops is the only map, out of the four, with the dynamic weather effect Hah! Practice makes perf- well actually no ones perfect, but practice will no doubt make you better
Yeah that's what I thought. Looks like I'm gonna be a few days behind the curve Not a big deal otherwise. Thanks. What kinds of guns do you guys typically use for MP?
Usually assault rifles, I find that any other gun is too difficult to use, except for snipers if you practice a lot (which I don't)
Can we have more then one classes or when we choose one ( recon for example ) We have to stick with him for the rest of the gams
