No problem It is top of my must have list so its only fair to share. I like the mole thing. And I wish. Funnily enough it's not the first time but in the past it varied from EA to Madfinger Games to just about anybody. Unfortunately I'm not though I would happily trade what I'm doing now for access to that early build. I've always found that if you're just a bit nicer to developers than the average, they'll be very nice to you right back. A lot of information is actually quite easy to come across anyway if you know where to look and are reasonably good at analytics because they all do have a bit of a pattern. I think I'm only beating Ryan to the punch because of the timezone difference. I'm ahead. If we were in the same time zone, I'd have nothing to say because he'd beat me to the punch every time. He is a great guy as well and I have huge amounts of time for him because he proper does give a damn and is of huge benefit to Gameloft and has helped their image immensely. I know that was a bit off tack but there really is not enough of good things I could say about him. He is a standout in the Community Management field. We will definitely see multiplayer footage at E3. No doubt about it. Might even see some in the second half of next week. That is depending on other factors so don't take that as a guarantee. E3 is a guarantee, late next week a possibility. I agree as well, it has strong potential to work extremely well. Another screenshot for ya.
And sher what the hell, here's another screenshot that arrived from somewhere that I do not think I posted yet. (Note, they are all low res and compressed so they will a lot sharper on device)
Yes, it will be interesting to see what the Gameloft booth looks like at E3 this year. Last year, we got iron man stickers, uno cards, demo of MC5, and donuts and orange juice. Wonder what the stickers might be this year... Modern Combat 5? Wonder if they will be showing Asphalt 9, do you know?
I've not been following the news lately. Can someone help name a few things we learnt about the new MC game?
Mine too, just hopin it runs alright on my iPhone 4S or iPad mini 1st gen until I get a newer device later this year (waiting for iPhone 6 to see what I get) Have to agree about Ryan, when I was keeping up with Asphalt he was very on the ball
Haha mannnnn...I'm like the last Community Manager to get to work due to timezones for GL. I always miss the good stuff ): No Asphalt 9, but I can assure you it's gonna be pretty sweet. Maybe I'm biased because I'll be there... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ EDIT: I think it's worth mentioning the obvious, but if you're press and at E3 and stop by our booth you'll be able to get a hands on with MC5. ^.^
I see Ryan already answered on A8 (the tables have turned) so I won't repeat but to say there won't be anything on A9 for a long time to come. A8 is very heavily supported and will be for a long time which carries the implication that anything A9 is a long time away. A long time away. Also, from what I hear (and is implied), there will be LOTS to see at the E3 booth, mostly stuff we've heard nothing at all about yet. So well worth the stop by I reckon. For more than just the MC5 stuff. I'm actually very interested to see what other stuff is there because it's all very new.
This is the most recent blog post I did regarding the Squad vs Squad and MP announcement. This is just starting to scratch the surface and we will have more information to come at E3, but feel free to check it out if you get the chance! http://blog.gameloft.com/index.php/2014/05/29/turn-up-for-squad-vs-squad/ I also link to the first detailed MC5 blog post I wrote talking about the title, unified progression, class system, and a little more.
You going to E3 bud? I can treat you to a beer or dinner or a sticker even! Also, if you need any tourist info on Los Angeles, let me know. I can tell you what to see here. Make sure to go to Venice Beach, Hollyweird, UCLA, or the Getty Museum. Or I will treat you to lunch, or whatever.
If Modern Combat 4 serves any comparison, along with how previous devices fared, they'll probably be a noticeable difference between A5 devices and A6+. As it seems with most Modern Combat games, faster devices will be advantageous in multiplayer.
Oh man I hate you! I would lOVE to go to E3, but I live in the UK so it's not easy to do haha. Maybe one day. Can't wait for all the great games news plus the MC5 news, and the release date.
The always having to be online has killed this game for me. That's just my opinion. I just hope all there new games won't go to that.
Difficult to play multiplayer without being online (I get what your saying, but personally I don't see the big deal)
Be honest here who actually enjoyed the ( albeit offline ) single player in mc4? Because I think very few people buy the modern combat for the storyline... Multiplayer is what's important
I actually did! I realise I'm in the minority, but I usually have zero interest in online gaming and the campaign mode in MC4 was entertaining enough for me to enjoy!
