You say iOS, but I guess you would also include Android in your comment too? Claiming it's the best FPS so far? Hope so, you are hyping it to the max mate so it better be good!

Any idea of the physical install size of the game?

Well, the site sub title is "keeping you in touch with the latest in iOS gaming" and I'll only be playing it on iOS devices anyway so I was just being contextual, not ignoring another platform. It's just android has no direct relevance to me personally. Nothing against android, it's just not my choice of platform.
I pretty sure it will launch on both platforms along with Windows mobile at the same time.

    I'm not exactly hyping it.
Gameloft has historically made the best fps for the mobile platform with the MC series (and NOVA series being close to a tie, in some cases) being the very pinnacle so, again, just being contextual.
If it turns out not to be the best fps on mobile, it will be a major disappointment for everybody involved and very much out of character for the series.
But the truth is, that's not going to be the case, as I've no doubt it will be the best we've seen up to this point.

I'm pretty sure if you put together a list of the top 5/10/100/whatever fps on mobile, that Gameloft would dominate the list along with all of the top positions so their history in this genre is exceptional.

Going by the bits of information I have had related to me, the anticipation within the company and the confidence and pride they have in it is very high, higher than I've seen before.
That in and of itself is a strong indicator for me of the high quality of the game and is not an intent to hype it, it's just passing information that most probably wouldn't have appeared just yet and does give a very strong indicator.

And, no, even if I did know the file size, I would be in no position to give that out. Any details like that are up to Gameloft to release closer to launch and the final release version.
Anyway I have no further information to share so waiting for some of the info to drop late next week (probably) and then more in stages over the following couple of weeks is about it.

On the side note, New CoD looks actually slick looking and very refreshing after dissapointing ghost.

Kinda like MC5 I guess, future tech warfare

No release date, sir. Gameloft had said, though, that there should be more news on the release, and game, in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out.

Well, E3 is from June 10-12.
I expect them to showcase it heavily there and have it out on the 12th.

But another part of me believes the last week in May or first week in June actually makes more sense because they have unannounced stuff and future in development releases to showcase at E3 as well and having this up and running and out the door makes sense in that context while still allowing them to showcase it heavily.

It appears no solid release date has been fully decided on yet but June 12th seems most likely to me at the moment from a pr perspective but last week in May would be what I'd personally be hoping for as it does make sense from a pr perspective as well because it allows E3 to focus in future stuff.

Its most likely in the hands of pr right now, (and pending Apple approval I suppose) as it is more or less complete at this stage with some things being ironed out and polished but you can take it that anywhere between, or on, May 29th to, or on, June 12th is the safest bet.
I don't really see May 22nd as an option as too little info has been released publicly at this stage.

Oh, on that point you said about March, that was a rumour a good while ago but the most consistent rumoured date has always been June. That's also part of the reason why I think the 12th is the latest point.
But hey, here's still hoping for May 29th.

There's nothing verry futuristic about MC5...

Not that that's a real surprise, since it is called Modern Combat.

Sure, but small drones and wallhack grenades are not what I'd consider game changingly futuristic.

Now Mechs and hoverbikes on the other hand...

Yes I know what the title say's, but as it's a game that will be released on all platforms like most Gameloft games, I was interested to see if the team felt it's the best FPS on the two biggest platforms? And I think what you said is yes?

Anyway, if you are right, I will be able to judge for myself in the next 4 or 5 weeks :)

The main thing I want out of this game is smooth multiplayer! Mc4 by now, for multiplayer, is a mess D:

I beaten MC4 single player and I loved the multiplayer but the touch controls made my thumbs sore. Hopefully, MC5 should support MFi controllers (or at least the upcoming Mad Catz C.T.R.L.i ) so I can have comfort for my thumbs.

Call it a coincidence, but how convenient that MC5 was revealed as MC5: Blackout, just as CoD: Advanced Warfare was revealed.

Mc5 was revealed earlier, and anyone who thinks the call of duty announcement has anything to do with Mc5's title being revealed last week should slow down on crack.

I like how you think everyone here is that gullible. The 5s will have better FPS, sure, but baseless claims like yours have no grounds here.
