I think it looks a significant graphical improvement over mc4, don't know what you're all complaining about. Plus, this is probably relatively early in development so will improve further for a release probably very late this year/early 2014
Tell me where the improvements are. Sure, water, but that's all. Even the (strange) lightning is the same. It's still too soon for MC5.
There seem to be a lot more objects on screen in this game and the Objects that are there look like they are more detailed.
Shadows still aren't cast by light. Gun sound effects are a lot better, though. There isn't much there to see, really. It's too soon to release a trailer. The art is still really bland and everything looks washed out...again.
Much more small details, plus, this is probably early in development. This is still a mobile game you must remember that - and the mc games always have a lot of complexity, so having a highly complex game with such amazing graphics (which rival some ps3/xbox 360 games) is really incredible
Noone is saying that the graphics arent great for mobile. It just looks like there arent many improvements from MC4. I understand its early but what else are we supposed to judge it on?
I can't believe they released a trailer for this game allready but gangster Vegas is about to be out and haven't even released a trailer with some gameplay.
The dev diary? MC4 looked equally impressive in the early videos/screens. What's with the ravens? There're three of them in that screen.
You mean leaked list of gameloft upcoming games, what said, that gangstar will be avaliable in 1-st quarter 2013, or anything else?
Honestly, I think Gameloft has figured that the Modern Combat series makes the most money compared to NOVA which is why this trailer came out first. While NOVA is fun, not a lot of people play it compared to MC I mean people are still playing MC2 while NOVA 2 is dead. Hopefully Gameloft put in a little more effort towards making those reload animation a lot better. MC3 had better reloads then this MC4. And the hands, need more poly lol.
One of the main graphical problems in gameloft games are visible at 0:35 in that video, the flowers are clearly in from of the rails behind, but for some reason the rails on the fence appear in front, I've seen this in most of gameloft a games since MC3
As one of the biggest mc fan, I am not blown away or impressed at all. It's nice to look at it obv. But from the graphics, I don't see any major improvements at all. If this game follows same class unlock system and dumb match making and ridiculous IAP system from mc4, it would be just end of mc series. I really loved mc3 and put so much time into it. But mc4 was just not fun as mc3. By the looks of it it looks more like mc4 and I don't like the washed this redish gray color... The way I feel about mc5 is just like I felt about mw3

Its way too soon to release a trailer. Its one thing if this was a cinematic trailer, but this is a gameplay trailer.
I know that they had to make one for E3, but they didn't have to make it cinematic. The gameplay doesn't look to good, and am I the only one that thought the guns recoil looked incredibly fake?
