Well, on Instagram the Modern Combat team DID ask if they should make a map based in Montreal. This was a week ago, and that's about it so far on what's up-to-date.
I don't think that's correct exactly unless I missed something today. The official line, as of 12 hours ago, was still "early 2014". The last official statement on it was that it is to be the first game to be optimised for MediaTek's octa-core MT6592 chip for Android devices. That's not to say you're wrong but the official line, so far, doesn't reference a particular month. I think January is when we will get a guideline date.
Damn, first i read "Mortal Kombat 5". For some reason. It's morning here, so i might just think too slow atm

What about this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMQCQSXLlck I don't really know how to use this youtube tags, they're not working properly.
man that octacore thing is nowhere near the iphone 5s gaming power!! and those effects are found on all the ipad4 early version footages we saw at E3!!
wow!!! DAMN!! this is gonna be a f@*king blast!! ( watch out killzone mercenary i think we just got our answer)
also a short video here with the game in action http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/20/mediatek-true-octa-core-mt6592/ that octa core seems very laggy to me!!
I'm getting the feeling that those water effects don't need an 8-core CPU to process. Call of Duty 4 from 2007 managed them quite easily with a tri-core CPU on the Xbox 360. Then again, a mobile CPU versus a desktop CPU is a pretty big comparison to make. I'm getting the feeling a lot of these effects will be taken out of the lesser devices versions as a product push for MediaTek. But that's just me being cynical. Keeping in mind that this is CPU focused, and thus, not so much graphically-focused as much as it is "how many effects can the game handle without crashing". We don't know what phones or tablets these videos are operating on; just that they have these fancy 8-core CPUs. Meanwhile, we know everything about the 5S, including the fact that it has an APU (GPU+CPU hybrid): the A7 chipset. For all we know, these phones might come with this 8-core CPU and an Nvidia Tegra 4 GPU. If they do... Well, prepare to eat your words. The game's not even close to being finished. The last stage of development is hardware optimization.
Loool! Dude...ok you do realise that..the tegra 4 is nowhere near the A6 right?? Yeah the A6!! Not the A7!! You can check benchmarks... And yeah you can still say they're not accurate but i can tell you that i sold my nvidia shield on week 1 because i was used to the framerate of my damn IPHONE 5!! That tegra 4 was just unbearable. Not to offense any tegra 4 user but its just it. On terms of gpu ios devices have always been too far ahead even if i think this is the only domain where ios still wins now. Games have almost nothing to do with the cpu. I mean seriously?? 8x2.0ghz?? And they want to make you believe that the game is gonna use the third core while the dual core ios devices without any doubts will run it smoother?? I don't buy it.
benchmark can't prove anything...optimisation does. IMO. i personally want to see one same game that fully utilise the power of A7 and the infamous octa core from samsung so we can admit that apple A7 is a beast or just marketing gimmick. choose a smartphone from benchmark is like buying a car and looking at its specs and one that has bigger cc wins. again just IMO.
Don't worry about that you'll see a lot of comparative videos between the iphone 5s or the ipad 5 and those octacore things playing mc5
