Yeah over the years I've noticed that Gameloft doesn't listen much and they just do what they want, probably because people keep coming back and buying their new games and not enough people speak out for something that needs changing.
Well if I did not get mc5 for free I would have never play it. And the funny thing is the have good freemium games
I don't know if u guys noticed this but they are adding in app purchases that will net u a chance of "pro weapons" and masks, which hopefully don't include stat boosts
And they should have a werewolf mode where one of the players is a powerful werewolf with a really good radar. All the other team member have to kill it. Every person killed will turn into a werewolf And the last man standing will win. The werewolf will need to seek because they can be gunned down
Wrong expression pale, I just hope they did the same thing with the amazing spider man 2. There is nothing funny about that. #
I'd 100% disagree with that. They changed Spider-Man 2 to offline because people asked for it. They removed/significantly reduced timers from Iron Man 3 because people asked for it. They changed BIA 3 from on rails to D pad roaming because people asked for it. They nerfed the only useful weapon in this because people asked for it. They released a free version of NOVA 3 because people asked for it. They updated Asphalt 8 nine times (soon to be ten), added new tracks and a multitude of cars because people asked for it. They updated legacy games to support iOS 8 because people asked for it. They added these two maps because people asked for it. They released it as a premium game with no iap because people asked for it. (They never claimed iap would not be added, just that it would launch with no iap and cosmetics would possibly be iap because people wanted it and said they would happily pay for cosmetic options.) And the list could could go on and on and on and on. It may not be what you asked for but you can't please all the people all the time. Gaming forums certainly have made that clear. As to controller question from others, it was meant to be in this update as recently as last week. Why it's not on that list is very unusual as it definitely was tested and previously confirmed to be in this update. Will have to wait a few more hours and see. Here's hoping a problem wasn't hit. Whoever has a controller and gets it first, let us know because I would genuinely be very very surprised if it's not in there. @ Crabman, let me know if you get a chance to test with you're controller, please, thanks. Don't have one to hand at moment myself.
It's just that we haven't heard a word about the possibility this will get added any time soon. What about bug fixes? Do you happen to know if they're not listed to avoid "advertising" them or have been written off this update?
Hmm, not really sure I can answer that one with any degree of specificity. I can say that no, they have not been written off and that specific mention of specific bugs is not an advertising consideration or concern. Any of the bugs I've seen mention of on here in the thread, I have seen mention of elsewhere and it has been stated that fixes have been done. But you won't get a specific bug fix list from Gameloft in the app description, it's generally just not done. On occasion, specific ones will be mentioned in certain cases that have gained notoriety but for the most part, not so much. It's not a concealment or an ignoring tactic. It's just their way of doing things. That may seem odd to some but many companies, Apple to name just one, deal with certain things (that I won't even consider mentioning) in a similar way. Don't take that to mean that they haven't been tackled, because they have, but just don't expect specifics. Also don't take that to mean that there will be no bugs at all in this update. New content and code changes inevitably lead to some and sometimes something you thought was fixed reoccurs after a change in the code for new additions. Or a bug fix can become less effective than you thought due to additions as well. Or it only reoccurs in certain unforeseen circumstances once it's out of the lab and in the real world. There's just too many variables so specifics are just too hard to be, well, specific about. I am assured though in relation to known bugs that they have been tackled and certainly not ignored. How successful that has been, well, will have to wait and see on that one.
Thanks for the reply. We don't have long until we can tell for sure. Hopefully at least the most severe ones will have been addressed.
@Rip73:i would gladly test the MFI functionality but would like to wait just a tad longer with my purchase.Until someone can confirm you also have sensitivity options for the MFI stuff.I can't imagine they left this options out though.
Still no single player content update. Not even a common survival mode like in the series they are copying. Do these guys think everybody is stuck in multiplayer? Some people enjoy single player contents too. Shouldn't have bothered buying this game since Dead Trigger 2 provided all the single player fun I needed.
I just got the update. As soon as it's installed I'll give it a whirl with my MFi controller and see what options there are for it, if any.
There seems to be a handful of smaller additions and bug fixes, which is very encouraging. I definitely would've liked to see a higher cap than 120. It went live right after I left for work so I'll have to wait until tonight to check it out. Looking forward to hearing some feedback.
Thanks, I got it a while ago and I see no ref to controllers in any of the settings so it looks like something happened with the integration of them that I was unaware of. Haven't one to hand to plug in and test but can't see any option for them anywhere. @Crabman, sorry man, looks like it didn't make it in this time. Probably a build with it didn't make the approval submission deadline but I don't really know as had been told it was going to be in it. It is getting a price reduction though. The pro weapons only have very little changes and gold piping. For example, if damage goes up, rate of fire goes down, that kind of thing. They are unlockable as they all seem unlocked on my build due to using the weapons in game and my level (bar the first one in each class oddly enough). So not iap or at least not only iap. The masks have different associated perks, more damage to recon but a weight increase or more damage to sniper but grenade reduction for example, so will have to choose them wisely. Can be bought in supply crates or can be earned by getting supply crate rewards in matches. Don't know rate of drop of them in game yet. Plenty of bug fixes so far, too many to list but seems a lot of the needed fixed have been done but will have to check later on and see when I've more time.
