Halloween is an excuse for kids to dress-up and get "free" candy while walking around in their neighborhood which is pretty awesome when you're a kid, for grown-ups to get wasted and have drunken sex & for corporations to make a ridiculous profit selling us high fructose corn syrup.

How do I report people? Some guy just killed my whole team in 10 seconds using the second pistol, seems like he was damage hacking.

Edit: Can't upload a screenshot as TA crashes every time I try to upload one.

I know this has probably been asked before, but is this game ever getting controller support? I've been holding off buying it as I want to play the campaign in the most comfortable console way I can, but this feature does not seem to have come yet. Any ideas?

Oh.... What... Damn I was actually hoping for some content but I guess I'll just have to settle for a sale on a game I already own :p why would they advertise in game for a sale on a game that you need to already own to see the advert?

It was suppose to be some big two part event where you get to kill the headless horsemen or something, at least that's what I thought about the email I got

Ooooops nevermind that's related to Spider-Man lol

On twitter they said it was a big suprise lol. I dont think a sale on a game we already own is a "big suprise".

shouldnt be that new map and update or whatever because we already know about that.

Last time this game was on sale, they pulled the Action Pack bundle, most likely because it undercut the sale price if stacked with the discount that you got when purchasing with Gangstar Vegas. This time they didn't pull the bundle. I was able to get Modern Combat 5 for free!

The surprise was a campaign event that awarded 4 sp for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Instead of the normal 3sp for first 2 for 2nd, 1 for 3rd.

Honestly really stupid it would of been much more enjoyable as a multiplayer event. Unless I'm missing something which is completely possible.

I find it annoying how the game takes 71 points off my MP rating, when I leave an empty game that says "Waiting for players" I was waiting for around 5 mins and nobody had joined. I should be able to leave an empty game and not have my rating go from 1821 to 1750.

Honestly I completely ignore multiplayer rating it's so fickle and doesn't really reflect how skilled a player is. I don't look at win loss ratio either because people with high ones just simply leave games.

While not perfect kill death ratio seems to be a good judge of players. 1.5 seems about average 2 is pretty good and 2.5+ great.

Every time I get my butt kicked and check out their kd it seems to usually be above average.

Interesting. I ignore KD and look at rating, although I can't actually say I ever look. I see a lot of players who play CTF who appear to ignore the flag and winning/losing. They instead focus strictly on stalking for the sake of their KD, which doesn't make them good in my book, even if their KD is much better than mine. When I play CTF, I want players on my team who also would choose a win over their KD.

And I get the whole rating thing. It's just an average which only includes your last x games, so sometimes your rating will go down after a good game because the game being bumped from the equation is what is important. It certainly doesn't define good or bad players though.

That's because a lot of people who play ctf (including myself) really want fixed spawn team death match. I like the strategic playing of invading and killing in enemy territory.

I'd make the argument that those people who practice their killing in ctf instead of playing the objective are typically better. People who mindlessly go for the flag with ridiclously negative ratios end up scoring because people care less in pub games.

However in competitive squad games those who practice killing will be more efficient when they are marked with the flag. I think with the objective games being so basic skill really does come down to how much damage you can do to the other team.

As to rating I play this game way too much and I'm totally addicted and it's funny how many thousands of players are supposedly better than me. I just don't feel it's accurate. Sure I focus on killing in ctf but I consider that a crucial role. It's enemy suppression so others have a clear path.
