And to top it all off the guys who sit there and camp all the time and get kills and use a bomberstrike after time's up in a capture the flag...pff
Bomber strikes are easy to avoid unlike regular air strikes. You usually have some time to avoid getting blasted, even after the time has run out in CTF, unless it's timed perfectly or you're on the construction map. As for campers, there are present in all FPS and they're easy to get rid of.
That was in reference to Brother's in Arms 3. Our HQ office in Paris invited players in the area via social media to do a small beta test of the game and get feedback. That's all the information I have on it. I haven't seen the feedback results or anything else on the event yet. Also, I'll be honest the feedback I've seen on bringing older maps back has been 50/50. Some people seem to really like it and others are "meh" on it. Are you guys on the thumbs up or thumbs down side of the fence for bringing back old maps?
My take on this is that if they come along new ones, that's great. Some of MC4's maps worked really great. Hopefully they won't be just copy-paste as to still integrate in the MC5 environment. If they're going to be the focus of dev team in the next few releases instead of new maps and above all fixing the severe gameplay bugs (lag, grenade suicide, shooting through walls, etc) it will be a few more frustrating months.
I really like some of the old maps. It would be nice to get a FEW to play on but I mostly want new environments.
So I've been playing a few MP matches in NOVA 3 again, mostly out of frustration with MC5, and the difference in gameplay is PHENOMENAL. Coming back to MC5 after playing NOVA 3 made it obvious that this game is really, really broken when it comes to gameplay. Not only movements are awkward, switching weapons is slow, aiming lacks accuracy, but also, and this is worst, lag is bad to epic proportions, bugs are all over the place: getting shot through walls, boxes, killing myself with grenades I threw in another direction as long as 5 seconds after the detonation, players freezing and skipping, being disconnected & flagged as "suspicious", game freezing my iPad 4, noticeable delay between getting kills and player going down, and so on and so forth. Wow!! I think I got used to how bad MC5 is & unconsciously justified it by the fact it's a mobile game. But NOVA 3 has none of these issues and it was released 2 years ago. I also got confirmation that the problem is neither my internet connection, my device or my skills as a player. MC5 is just broken. Plain and simple. 3 months after release today and NONE of the bugs have been addressed. I'm done for now.
Yup, and MC4s controls and depth were also much much better than MC5 and in my opinion NOVA 3 as well
I played the game for the first time in a long time, and I still can't see how anyone could call this balanced: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel This video features a totally not overpowered side arm and ridiculously lethal concussion grenades. Also why hasn't the android version gotten the visual improvements that iOS got yet? My Shield Tablet runs the game without a problem on the highest graphics settings. With half of its CPU power locked away. While recording in 1080p on the device. Don't say that today's high end Android devices couldn't handle it. [Insert rant about all the other stuff that hasn't been fixed or added yet, e.g. hackers and content here.]
I don't really care if we get completely new maps or remakes of old maps, but if it's the latter I hope they are good remakes. I didn't like at all the remake of MC3's Alert in MC4.
I don't hate the fact that you're bringing old maps back, it's just that it seems a bit lazy to regurgitate (with improvements perhaps) old content. I'd much rather pay for new maps via IAP.
I'd rather not. I remember clearly when GL said the game would be released as a premium instead of a freemium with a few maps and modes so they could listen to customer feedback and implement new content accordingly, for free. Still waiting for them to deliver on this among other things.
This And this. I have actually stopped playing Mc5 at the mo. I am hoping that the update brings with it more than just one old map, although that alone will get me back to play a little bit as it will make it more varied. Also when is the update going to drop? It's been a couple of weeks now since they said about it...
I'm glad they finally nerfed the crump completely. My only complaint is now I have no way to take out speed hackers. They reduce there speed to make it less noticeable. But there are still plenty of hackers. Also the automatic booting of speed hackers is broken. The game should only boot during horizontal movement not vertical (falling). For example on rooftops if you drop from the roof to the very bottom inside the building missing the platform you will get booted.
So far the weapon fixes seem solid. I'm seeing more gun variety already. The Red still seems like a good gun even after a 2nd nerf. I think that some of the Crumpler spammers have switched over to the Slak. And yeah, I still see a lot of slower speed hackers, but they were pretty common before too. I just assumed it was because people wanted to cheat, but didn't want others to know they were cheating.
That would explain why I got kicked so often. I love jumping and gunning. I didn't think of that possibility. As for the slow speed hackers, I don't really mind them. Now that they don't fly through the map, it's obvious how unskilled they are. I make it a mission to annihilate and teabag them.
Oh I didn't know they said this. I bought it with the mindset that what was downloaded is what I paid for, so I personally wouldn't mind paying extra for more content.
Teabag!!!!! Mc4 is more balanced than mc5, less hackers The skill tree in mc4 is more relevant, Each skill had there opposite- deeper charactere costumization I hope mc5 reintroduce certain skill, and have voice chat like nova3
