Exactly,it's write in app description,those with iOS 8 and iPhone 5s And up update from in-game,that become more bigger in This devices,but without use that data for older devices,It's a good thing..i remember when i was upgrade from iPhone 4 to'iPhone 5,DEAD SPACE receive an update for iPhone 5,And was 230Mb more than before,but also on iPhone 4,This prevent huge data for devices that can't benefits from This graphics,hope more games do The same..
Just a heads up guys, I never bought 5 at launch so I figured oh maybe I'll buy it at a cheaper price with the app bundle and to my surprise since I owned 3&4 I was offered to download the bundle and get 5 free. Heh, kinda the same for me. I had bought MC4 & MC5 and now MC3 is free, yay. Can't buy the bundle though cuz it needs space for all three apps and I don't have that much storage left atm. xD
They just in a haste increased a few effects here and there instead of optimising the game engine and making sure they run smoothly.Just because now they'll get featured in the metal section which means more money,This is 'not' metal optimised or updated this is just breaking the framerate with poorly optimised effects which also cause a lot of stuttering,Shame on you GL really for once try and do something right. @Ryan Do guys at GL know what a 'locked 30fps' is eh?Because I'm sure none of your games run like that even on top end phones,Try to learn something from Firemonkey.Look at Real racing 3 which looks 2-3 generations ahead of your game and still runs buttery smooth 45-60fps on even mid range devices,Learn how to optimise games or please stop making them. Even A8 git filmsy onscreen snow and stuff which clutters the screen instead of that they should have gone for Msaa,Hdrr,Higher res shadows in place of shitty blurb of shadows they have now or increased the resolution instead we got a shitty 'snow' Effect.
