They're obviously having a hard time fixing the content included in the initial release so new maps aren't going to happen just yet.

yeah I just did the same. Will play again when they add more maps. Really really enjoy the game though.

I hear ya on the complaints. I think the suicide by grenade bug is absurd, as is the heavy/crumpler spamming into the ground. And I don't even want to get started on the terrible spawning. But that said, there are a lot of things I really like about the game. The graphics are just fine for me. It almost always runs smoothly on my 5S (although lately characters have been "jumping" horizontally a bit). And for whatever reason, it's the first MC game that drew me in. I had every previous version but always ended up deleting them, just like most of the other FPS games that I bought (Nova, all of the zombie ones other than COD, etc.). In the end, I agree with the criticisms but disagree with the comparisons.

I've gone through leveling up twice now (the first time to about 50, and now I think I'm around level 75), and that level is definitely the best I've found. It's very easy and you get 320 points without breaking much of a sweat.

Speaking of MC4, are there still a lot of people playing online? I'm considering checking it out again since I never really got into it before (although I randomly re-downloaded it about a week before MC5 was released). Now that I finally got my k/d ratio over 1 (that's a big deal for some of us . . . haha) and am digging an FPS, I may download MC4 again just to have some more variety. I really enjoy MC5 despite my complaints, but 4 maps isn't enough. Also, I play mostly CTF for a variety of reasons, so that limits my games even more.

Thanks I'll definitely check it out!

A few weeks ago MC4 was still going strong. Not sure now. I also play mostly CTF. I like VIP as well as they both require some strategy rather than just senselessly shooting everything. CTF in MC4 is much more intense as when the timer runs out and it's a draw, the match only ends when a flag is captured. Not this no-respawning BS happening in MC5. I've said it before on here but the intensity of the gameplay was much greater as a result.

How does one login with a new Gameloft account?

I got an iPad from someone who already had it on his and I'd rather not restore the whole device. I had my own Gameloft account but can't figure out how to signout of his and logon with mine.

Also is there a way to 'start over' - in which case he might let me use his?

    Thanks!

you dont need a gameloft account, it is linked with Game Center. I imagine that if you log in with a different GC ID, or none at all, it would be the same as starting from scratch.

    but how?

How does one logout of GameCenter or create a new account in it? Is there no way to simply erase what causes MC5 to boot up with his account now?

    creating new account

I ask because I have heard people have had problems after creating a new Apple ID.

The charbtek may not be a good gun but hell if it isn't a fun one to use XD

Each shot fired with level 2 assault perk is about 70% damage. With added level 1 berserk 20% that's roughly 85% damage per shot. That is the same damage as the final pistol+handgun ability. That is powerful. But instead of 6 bullets and slow reload you get a full 20+ ammo clip.

Sounds good on paper, but it takes good aim to kill. Makes it more challenging though.

go into settings, find game center and then log out. Not sure if you are then prompted to make a new account, fairly sure you would be though.

I imagine to delete his save data you would have to go digging around in the filesystem, its probably possible but I wouldn't know where to start. Logging out of GC is much easier :)

Response to Mess and..... question about Berserk

The problem with that approach is you are indeed prompted to create a new GC account via a new Apple ID. And I've seen many people say there are problems with that.

So I'm trying to find another way to zero this person's account.

One other question: How does one 'use' berserk mode once you have it in Assault?

dont think there is :( that would be for GL to answer, but I think progress is stored on their servers and is linked to the GC ID.
You could try to log out of that GC ID and then start the game up, see what happens then...

but what problems have you heard about? I haven't heard any issues with new GC ID's.

Wouldn't you think that Gameloft would make it easy to 'start over?' I mean anyone who wants to willingly start from zero is going to be online with them for ages - isn't that something they would want?

Doesn't this require two apple IDs to make two GC accounts?
