    For a Tier 5 gun the Red isn't really unbalanced. The problem is that the game's whole progression system is unbalanced by design.

    Who though that giving people who've played the game for longer and have more experience playing the game an objective stat advantage would be fair in any way?! It's not just unfair for new players or people starting from level one, it limits people's weapon choices to the best weapons they've unlocked rather than the one that is subjectively the most effective for their playstyle leading to less variety in the weapons s that high-level players will use.

    This doesn't mean that tier 5 weapons should become more powerful though, I stead I think lower tier weapons should get a stat boost. The difference between tier 1 and tier 5 weapons should be smaller.

    Or instead of change in gun stats , gameloft could change the match making system , make you play with people your level.

    IMO I think its fair that people who have been playing for long and are at a high level have a slight advantage , I mean they have worked hard at levelling up, They do deserve better guns with slight advantages . NOT TO BIG of an advantage though.

    Anyways this game does need a bit more of balancing.

    I kinda feel like Gameloft released this game to early , I think they should of worked on the game more and done more testing before realising it .

    On a different note ,Any news on more maps and game modes ?
    The 4 maps are getting boring . So are the 4 game modes.

    Finally got to level 100, wish there was something else then just an emblem.....something along the lines as camo skin or gold skin for the tier 5 guns would have been nice :)

    There are so many issues in this game for me so its nice to see this FAQ and known issues. Hoping for a fix soon.

    Hi all - Just wanted to stop in and say I'm back from vacation. I'm ready to listen to more compelling arguments on why the Red34 should be nerfed and anything else that might have come up while I was away :)

    Welcome back! Hope you enjoyed your time off.

    A few questions for you:

    1. when can we expect a fix for the bugs listed on the GL's website FAQ?
    2. is there something coming up to fix the various bugs with suicides by grenades?
    3. somewhat related: it seems the explosive weapons used by Heavy class have a far narrower self damage pattern, IOW a heavy class can shoot at almost point black with the CTK-88 Crumplor or SLAK7H grenade launcher without dying unlike when throwing grenades.
    4. is the bug where we can get shot through walls being worked on? This bug may be related to another where if you throw a grenade and turn your character the grenade's trajectory will bend. I'm wondering if the same thing is happening with bullets. Maybe not. If so, that's 2 bugs for you right here! ;)
    5. Re: RED-34. I don't really mind its power. If anything, the weapon's precision should be reduced. Even better, let the Heavy class carry all these extra grenades, not Assault.
    6. Finally, is the dev team doing anything about hacking? Are they working on implementing an easier reporting system? Also, and I doubt you will be able to get me a straight answer form the devs, but as there is some sort of automatic kick system in place (I know because I've been wrongfully kicked several times), why can't a simple speed check system be put in place?

    The tier five recon gun is AmAzInG!!!! It seems very worth the grind to get such a good gun. I'd rather use it than the Red 34 IMO. But I wish I could get rid of the stabilization perk. It looks awful when sprinting.

    Lol yeah I avoided it, only got the pistol upgrade. I wonder if I have the sprinting animation

    1- The team is tackling them as we speak. Update 1 should address a fair amount of issues, but I haven't seen the final update notes so I can't say if it addresses all of them.

    2- Hmm...Can't say that these issues have been raised to me yet. However, that doesn't mean the team isn't already looking into them. I'll have to wait to get the final word on Update 1 to know for sure.

    3- Sounds good. That's something the Dev team would have more insight on, but it seems to be a valid observation!

    4- Again, since I haven't seen the final update notes it's unclear to me if that'll be fixed in Up1. However, I do know it's been mentioned to the team and they should be working on it.

    5- I can't comment on balance other then I have made sure the general consensus regarding the Red-34 after the first nerf was heard. It's up to the Dev team if they feel another round of nerfs for damage or precision is warranted.

    As for the extra grenades - This is a new topic I'm getting up to speed on since coming back from vacation. I think players have a valid point and will be asking about this as a possible change. I guess my only question is, if we change this, what would the Assault class get to replace it's ability to carry more grenades?

    6- Short answer: Yes, the Dev team is working on hacking
    Long answer: Hackers are tough. They constantly put out new cheats/hacks at an alarming rate and I know the team is doing their best to keep up with it. I think FPS is a really frustrating genre to deal with hacking in, so I know they will continue to try and optimize the anti-hacking measures we are currently using in MC5.

    I can't comment on how or if there is an auto-kick feature because I'm not aware of one. I'm not privy to all of the in's and out's of the measures the team uses and even if I did, like you said, I wouldn't be able to share that on a public forum sadly.

    Hope that helps give you some insight, but sorry a fair amount of things are still up in the air since I haven't gotten final word on Up 1.

    Yes, thank you! I know there's a lot you can't tell us for other various reasons too.

    If you look in this thread there are a few mentions of it. It may be related to lag issues in the game. Basically sometimes when you throw a grenade far enough that it shouldn't inflict any damage it results in a suicide. The reason I think it may be related to lag is because I've died in the game a couple of seconds after the grenade I had thrown exploded. So it went something like this: throw grenade, explosion, start running, suicide. :confused:

    Good question. I'm not sure. Honestly, I think now that players have started maxing out in other classes, the game is starting to feel more balanced. I think the addition of new maps should seriously consider the sniper class as IMO they don't have as many opportunities to shine as others on the current ones. Also, as a Recon fan I wish they could further increase the running speed of this class but I can do without. There are a lot of other more important issues to address.

    No it's a really short single player story. The gamer is mostly about multiplayer.

    Im on android and im getting sick of the crashing, it doesn't happen to often but it's so annoying to be winning a game and suddenly it force closes. I have a galaxy tab pro 8.4 (snapdragon 800 quad core 2.3 ghz. 2gb ram) and an xperia z2 (snapdragon 801 quad core 2.3 ghz, 3gb ram) so I know my device's are more then capable of running this with no issues. Please sort this out gameloft

    Yeah, this game in particular crashes literally all the time on my shield tablet - more than it did on my Galaxy S2 even, where it already crashed more than it should.

    I've lost my game save. I'm disgusted. I had a 1800+ rating, the Recon class maxed out, Heavy & Assault almost there. It's all gone. I've tried multiple re-installs & reboots, signing in & out of game center, etc. to no avail. I'm not starting from scratch again that's for sure.

    No way... that's gutting :( I would be so annoyed at losing my progress, I have a maxed Recon and Assault with almost tier 5 handgun.

    The only positive is that it would mean I wouldn't spend my points on the Assault class straight away. Although playing through the SP again to get the skill points would suck.
