Play CTF when (I presume from the characters in the names of the hackers I have seen) Chinese are on line. There are several Usain Bolts!!

No I was making a joke, they have hacked it so they run really really fast, as in 2/3 seconds to run the whole of canals.
It seems to be Chinese players. The Usain bolt bit was because of the running fast ;)

I don't think so but I'll be careful next time that happens.

Yeah MC4 got that one right. You have to spend 10 minutes off the game to report a hacker it's stupid.

Lol my thoughts exactly lol :) normally I don't do clans or squads full stop, TA I make the exception :)

And ok another note it's like every other game of CTF now has someone who speed hacks

There is a huge amount of people getting banned every day. Literally 100's.
The problem is that there is thousands of immoral lowlife scumbag cheaters out there and every time a hack is blocked on the server, some smart ass comes up with another, releases it online and it proliferates like an evil virus.
People being able to create new iTunes accounts and use that new gamecenter to log in doesn't help matters either but at least it still means they have to start over again.

The problem is not that they are not trying in Gameloft, they are trying very hard, the problem is that it is all those kids out there with their jailbroken devices modifying files that some other asshat has put up on the internet.
There's simply a huge number of them out there and give some low life's half a chance and they'll use it to ruin it for everybody.
    It ain't easy though.

A "report" button is being considered but the problem with that is the last time it was in, people spam reported the good players as well and more time was wasted verifying the good from the bad.

The very best thing to do is take their names as you come across them and either send a bundle of names by PM to Ryan (his back on Monday) or through the support tab or if you spot any sites/YouTubes with links to the hacks online, send in the link to Ryan or support because the only real way to battle them is by adding those modded files to the seclusion list on the server side.

Couldn't they just implement something on the server side that monitors players speed and automatically kick them if they go beyond a certain limit? GL has some kind of automatic anti-cheat system going on as I've been (wrongfully) kicked and received a "hacking" warning.

Rip is right, I think it'll be best not to add a report button. I've gotten banned two times before just because some dudes get frustrated. Then you have to wait a week or so to get all your progress back & start playing again.

I don't think this situation is going away anytime soon. PC online games still get countless hackers.

It really just depends on what Apple will do rather than Gameloft. & I doubt apple would do anything considering they dont care about iOS hardcore gaming

Well of course a report button shouldn't ban people instantly, I think instead it should notify gameloft/an automated system to take a look at a specific player's next (few) match(es) and analyze their behaviour (movement speed, firerate with certain weapons, ...) and then determine if they're a hacker or not.

In previous MCs the report button doesn't ban instantly, it just sends your acct to a team & from there they just check your records and stuff. So if someone got reported enough, I guess it'll seem suspicious so they'll get banned?

I doubt they'll drop loads of money for a system like that for a touchscreen fps with a very small player base. Plus they can always make a new account and rinse and repeat their whole youtube tutorial process.

Hackers won't go away in iOS or PC because the devices & games can easily be tweaked with just a simple tutorial.

Rip, exactly! Tired of these cheaters myself. These clowns have no intention of competing or playing the game, they just want to ruin it for everyone else. Another thing to do is when you encounter these cheaters is to leave the game immediately. Let's not give these guys the satisfaction, maybe after a while they might get bored.

For what it's worth, I play mainly CTF and rarely see speed hackers.

GL needs to fix the bug when you die just at the end of regulation during a tie. It counts toward sudden death and you do not re-spawn. I'd also like to see perks used during regulation not count toward sudden death. Those damn bombers ...

Not sure about the automated anti-cheat system which keeps consistently track of movement speed, fire rate, etc.
This could be a huge drain in performance for both, servers and devices and I am not sure if this would even be possible because there are other things which have to be considered like connection speed, lagg, etc. which could result in false positives.
That is much data which is thrown at the servers in a small amount of time.

Oh the irony! After finally finding a CTF match without speed hacker, I got kicked out of it and received a "suspicious activity" message.:mad::mad:

LMAO I LOVE to do that :) I always save my bomber each CTF match so I can use it in sudden death :)

Does wonders for win/loss ratio :)

IMO they should get rid of sudden death altogether. I much preferred the way it worked in MC4. End the match when the flag is captured not before. The most memorable and adrenaline fueled matches I had in MC4 were in CTF after the regular time was up.
