Sorry guys, just a little question. Can I disable blood effects in the game? Thanks for clarification!
This game has been released in most countries as of writing, except for the United States. I've been browsing this forum for quite some time before actually creating an account, however I have a ludicrous request. Within the United Kingdom, this game costs £4.99. Unfortunately I don't have a debit/credit card; so could someone from the UK gift me the game and I'll pay them via PayPal? I'm willing to pay first, hopefully to a "well respected" individual on this community, as I don't want to be conned. Anyhow, this game looks solid but reviews state it's not as good as MC4. All the best.
I totally agree with this. I am somone who likes multiplayer but if I had a choice I would rather take single player. I grew up right before the whole multiplayer fad fully kicked in. Though now-a-days everyone seems to want massive online multiplayer in everything lol
This is great to hear, with the exception of grenade spam MC2 was one of the best MC's. Only 2 more hours BTW, oscar, if you're up to it it would be awesome if you added the MC5 TA Squad thread in your signature, that way more people will see it.
Really? So my iPad 3 will run smoothly? Oh thank goodness, I don't even mind lower graphics for me long as it's playable
Reminds me a lot of Rainbow six as well. It's like Modern Combat and R6 shadow vanguard had a love child. I am enjoying it a lot but damn it is tough. As I said in the other thread, do not jump straight in to multiplayer. You will need weapon stabilising attachments and to get used to the controls and animations for reload and grenade throwing. Maps are huge and tactics are essential but it is pretty fast paced. Going out on your own and spray and pray will get you nowhere. ADS is pretty much a given. Maps are actually very impressive. Weapon tailoring looks like it will be very important as well. Definitely unlock some attachments before you tackle multi. I'm still at it but barely being able to maintain a k/d of 1 is a bit if a surprise for me so that's how tough it is. By the way, being a tough multiplayer is an advantage. I know some would like it easy but this will challenge you and keep you playing a lot longer if you're up for the challenge. Desperately trying to get a melee in multi. It is not easy. I shall do it though. Best advice for multi is think before you move and aim high. Smooth as butter framerate.
What should I focus on purchasing first for equipment? Attachments before upgraded weapons? Which attachments are better suited for beginners?
Good to hear the game isn't one were you can just spray and pray, use no tactics, and get a 5.00 KD. I was planning to play through the entire multiplayer campaign first, before it jumped into multiplayer. BTW, do you know if there are weapon or attachment challenges that net XP? In MC4 the only way I chose my attachments were picking the ones were I hadn't finished all of the challenges yet, and this was how I was able to rank up so quickly.
