Anyone tried the final sniper yet? I was pretty close to unlocking it before I switched to the red just because it's so much more fun. At least now most of my kills aren't with a pistol!

VIP matches end too quick. They should really think about adding a higher cap

I think it would be awesome is if they added like a barebones to multiplayer. Everyone gets the same weapons and no perks or air support. Separate the men from the boys.

Actually doing much better on rooftops since I got the red, doing better like that than I was with my thermal scope sniper which was great for that level.

Now I just camp the roof, although I feel pretty useless game wise as assult. With my sniper I was constantly stealing flags and doing runs and now all I'm really good for is taking people out and getting my flag back if they head my way.

I really want to like recon as they seem quick and the radar ability sound good. Any comments on their weapons and t5 along with how useful the skills are?

Also as a previous comment on maps my order of favourite has to also be construction site, streets, canals and only one I dislike being rooftops. Just feels too small as no one uses the inside really.

I've done a few squad battles now, heres a few comments.

When you do a squad battle both teams should be even. Sometimes I go in with 4 people & the opposite team will have 6 with one spectating. So it ends up being a 4v5 instead of a 4v4. Ealier today it was a 3v5 with one spectating. No one left, people only joined.

Also most of the time everyone uses the assault when they do squad battles because they're in "try hard mode" and assualt is arguably the best class ATM due to the accuracy and damage that the RED has. So the grenades do get really really really hectic considering everyone has 4 grenades & to make the situation worst, explosions go through walls.

You should be able to access the squad chat while you are dead. Only when you're dead since the game is fast paced.

Other than those flaws, the squad system is pretty top notch.

I haven't played squad but can completely agree the system needs work for matchmaking as it does happen extremely often where sides are unevenly matched.

I also completely the majority of players I come up against are also assult and I'm very suprised when I see a sniper or heavy, recon aren't too rare though. Sniper was the first and not class I have maxed out skill wise, I hoped it was something I could stick to but for now it's more fun to play something else.

We all commented on grenade damage through walls, I suppose through some of the paper thin ones might be ok but it does happen through huge buildings also.

I hate to say it but I think I like MC4 better. Shorter missions are an ok idea but the loading new levels & missions slows me down just enough I can lose momentum. I like to play through single player before I go on to multiplayer & I'm going to have to say in that portion MC4 is the king. MC5 is still a great game but to me it does not unseat MC4 as the best combat FPS :(

I've been oscillating between the heavy and the assault. I like heavy for streets and rooftops, assault for canals and construction. Assault has the most utility and is good in just about every situation, but nothing beats the sheer thrill of going on a shotgunning rampage.

I can see how Assault gets to be pretty OP later on, the assault rifle damage buffs in the skill tree just seem unnecessary considering the power of the Red already. I feel like if they changed that skill to something less brutal, this game would be much better off and you'd see much more recon and heavy at least. I doubt snipers will ever really dominate, the maps are just too small as is.

Other problems I've seen, the grenade thing is ridiculous. Also, the knifing animation takes way too long, any time I melee kill someone I usually die right after since someone is blasting me in the back with a Red.

Huh completely forgot about that skill. Thats probably whats making the RED seem really powerful & the lower tiered guns weak.

Idk how I'm the only one with this problem hahah. It happens way too much >.<

Maybe I'm just too much of a competitive gamer lol

The recon is actually really fun when you get used to how it works. There are going to be many times where you have to flee because you're too far from the enemy (and its pretty easy since you're so fast). It might be tempting to fire at em, but keep in mind you're going to take longer than usual since you lack range therefore your opponent will have an advantage and at the same time you will be exposing yourself to other foes

You also have to learn the maps. Take routes that have more cover than usual. For example, on rooftops when running on the sides of the map try to weave between cover:
If you're not able to get into cover within a second, you're doing it wrong. A tactical advantage is always going to be better than a firepower advantage.

Also keep an eye on the mini map. Once you see a red dot appear, head that direction and try to find a flanking route. Flanking routes are ALWAYS in the outer parts of the maps.

Don't try to stay in one area and peek out from a wall continuously. Thats not how you play recon, If an enemy sees you he'll just aim down his sights and wait for your head to peek out. Always be on the move

Don't use a silencer, your damage will drop significantly making the SMG practically useless.

Always pie when going from location to location. (Pie - checking all angles to make sure no one is there). Also, always take routes that give you as minimal angles of exposure as possible!

When possible, grab the higher ground advantage

Hey i know I'm just angry with Gameloft.I spent 7 dollars to give them trust,i was sure that this game was good. But no,in MC4 i was one of the best players, here everything is so unbalanced.Spawns are the worst problem:you kill an enemy and then he spawn right behind you and kill you or:you spawn near an enemy and he kill you.Shots feedback is another bad thing.Maps are like mazes, you die so fast.Going back to MC4.

I know all the maps really well as I played a lot over the weekend and mainly as sniper so I was forever using cover and looking for sniping spots. Also the flag runner the time so him had to learn the side paths and cover.

Also to be honest I use my sniper decoy ability all the time but usually forget about the assault damage boost and still slaughter them.

Edit: just tried my sniper again and did pretty well but it really isn't as good as the red. I belive the game would be fairer if the assult rifles range was reduced and the scope also. It's just like having an automatic sniper at the minute.

I also bought this due to post Destiny beta withdraw. Shockingly it doesn't quite fill that void.

Thats just the Game Center, leaderboards anyone can do that. Use/check the actual in-game leaderboards.
