Universal Modern Combat 5: Blackout - (by Gameloft)

So they're going to listen to players' feedback and implement changes and release new content taking it into consideration? IOW, instead of doing a lot of work and releasing a game with 8 maps and 8 modes, knowing that if they're unpopular it would have been a lot of wasted resource, they've decided to start small and release content and implement changes players "actually want".

I'm not saying it's not a bad thing, quite the contrary.

 

How do you report people in this game? I just come across a player on android with unlimited rocket launcher. Funny thing is i still came first lol what a loser

 

Did anyone else notice the teddy bear in the second level of chapter 6?

 

Unfortunately it's quite complicated atm unless I'm missing something. You have to tap the settings icon, contact customer service and fill out a form with your name, email address, device, OS, reason and comment...

Is this how MC5 look on your device or just a low quality screenshot?

 

Hard to say, it is a screenshot from my device, but when playing the game it doesn't look nearly as aliased:

Ugh, still many hiccups, framedrops and I saw even short freezes (at 3:31 +)

And this on an Tegra K1. This is also a good example to show that optimization should be king, even on next gen hardware.
I was rly on the fence buying the shield tablet but after reading that even HL2 and T2 running on average framerates only I've dropped the idea.
However, given the fact that it is driven by the K1 GPU which is based on Kepler desktop graphic cores and drivers which offering all the same things as the desktop counterpart makes porting PC games easy as hell. We will see how well it turns out.

 

Hackers are everywhere, just like every other M.C. They said they waited a year and a half so they could do something about hackers?!!! The game is crawling with speed hacks, dodge hacks, and now bazooka hacks. All of this in less than week. Major fail Gameloft.

For those of you that are sooooooo f-ing lazy in life that you have to cheat at a video game, you should do the world a favor and just go drown yourselves. You're worthless oxygen thieves that are only clogging up the world with your wasted lazy existence.

 

I actually gave up on buying the Shield Tablet after seeing it's resolution of 1920X1200.

After using the iPad Mini 2 for months now, I can never go back to lower resolution gaming ever again even if they are sporting the world's most advanced GPU and CPU, which no mobile developer would ever maximize their potentials anyway and the controller has the PlayStation format, which I detest as hell.

I would rather wait for the iPad Mini 2 Wikipad.

Note: This game looks terrible on my Galaxy Note II. Almost like a different game with zero graphical effects and jaggies everywhere. I couldn't even finish the tutorial after seeing what it looks like on my iPad Mini 2.

As comparison, I installed Modern Combat 4 back onto my Note II and it looks miles ahead than this game on it. MC 4 even has graphical effects like smoke and fog on the Note II.

 

I would prefer a 1920x1080 resolution personally
Less stress for the GPU and the screen is so small I dunno if it would make that much of a difference. I mean, we're playing games in full hd on our 50" TV's and it still looks good.

I didn't dropped the idea of buying the shield tablet completely though. If Apple doesn't come up with an similar or even faster SoC in its A8 I will probably buy myself a shield. But it would be unlikely for Apple to not completely blow away the competition with a newly released device

Just by the look of it, seeing MC5 even struggle on A7 and K1 devices...I guess we need an i5 and a GTX650 with at least 3GB of RAM to play MC5 without any problems, hah. Man, this is terrible ._.

Miss MC2 days where all devices ran game around 30FPS totally fine

I love this game but am a bit disappointed compared to Modern Combat 4 missing many nice options in game but I belive than developer Will prepere some great updates to the game in particular maps and game modes.

 

Damn. Just played 22 minutes of campaign and my battery went from 59% to 25%. Not cool.

 

Final review:this game is crap.
Maps are shit
Weapons are unbalanced
Controls are clumsy
FRAMERATE is even more crap on 5S
Spawns sucks

 

These are the type comments that the devs/readers/support just ignore and glide over. Give some detail, dont be so rude. Give some proper feedback instead of this so called "review"

 

I have a new respect for what the devs did with modern combat 4 after playing this. It feels it needed more time in the oven to better optimize the game.

 

Hehe its normal when game is requiring Am ready for that cuz i bought additional battery hehe

 

Any idea how to boot a player from your squad? Dude is never on and is taking up space
