Progress? Question: I have an android, and ios device, I started on my ios device, now I want to sync my progress to my android, how can I do this? Thanks in advance.
I don't understand this whole Rating system. I won a FFA with 28-0 and my rating drops from 1858 to 1850. Has anybody figured this system out?
Some people will say that shit running at 15 fps is smooth. It's beyond me. I'll remember to linsten to you in performance discussions because you are probably like me in thinking that only 30fps+ can be an acceptable performance (at least for calling it "smooth"). And the campaign of this game is a joke. It's so much worse than MC4 you have to wonder what the hell happened during development time. I always thought the extra dev time was to give polish and quality enough to bring MC to the next level, but now it's clear that something went very wrong in development and they made the half assed campaign in a hurry. The game does look very good in some places though. All that said, I'm having fun with the multiplayer at least. But playing a multiplayer FPS with the game running at 20 fps isn't the best experience. Game also needs more maps, but that's not new. Honestly, I would rather play MC4, but cheaters.
Only four maps.. I wonder how they implement new ones, through free updates or map packs like in MC3.
Probably, if MC5 follows MC4, free updates. We can be looking forward to a big update sometime in the future. In MC4, the update included new attachments, guns, maps and grenades. Dunno about the one for MC5. The Jolt (or any SMG) with a suppressor is quite good fun!
Yeah but don't expect an update anytime soon. MC4 was launched in late 2012 and the update didn't come with new maps till mid 2013. So I would expect the update for MC5 in early 2015. Hopefully they at least quickly release an update that allows us to turn up the sensitivity more as well as make the frame rates not suck half the time on an iPad Air. There was talk on this forum that they were trying to achieve 30 FPS but on certain maps like canals it dips down to like 15. Or they could just dump that crummy map. Such a disaster. Made for 50 player matches not 12.
True! Since the eye runs at approx 24,25 frames per second anything less will judder! We've had this complaint since Mega Drive/Genesis and ps1 days so nothing new!
I forgot what the guys name was, but I can confirm that for some reason, when firing the gun while aiming, your sensitivity is for some reason reduced. I don't know why that is, but for anyone that felt that there aim was off, that is probably the explanation.
GL said they'd be free. They also said that they were releasing the game with only 4 MP maps and limited MP modes so that they could add content players actually want in future updates (which sounds like a bad excuse for releasing something half-assed I know...)
I actually like the canals map it is a little large for the amount of players so the amount of players could be increased. The map I dislike is rooftops, I just camp on the roof now targeting the event stairs as people always hang around above your spawn or in it unless you do.
That's fair. I'll keep an eye out for it and see if I notice other arguments for the nerfing of the Impact grenades! It's based on your average performance from other matches compared to the one you just participated in. I'm trying to get some more information on it, because it seems to be a pretty popular question. As someone else mentioned, you can't because MC5 is not cross platform. The Devs didn't say that we were going to release content that players "actually wanted" >.< They said the game modes they picked were the most popular games modes from MC4, so they moved them to MC5. As they monitor MP feedback they will add more game modes and as they mentioned, more maps.
I feel the same way, rooftops is such a generic Deathmatch style map... I enjoy trying to be somewhat tactical, and canals is awesome. I love long range fighting as well, not just getting blasted in the back with a shotgun right when you spawn. I felt like I was the only one who enjoyed Canals!
Oh...now this is interesting and explains alot. This means you'll have to be consistently better than in your last matches. But isn't there any limit? Wouldn't this mean I'll have to 100-0 at some point to get more points? *scratches head* Now, anyone here with an idea of how to exploit this mechanic? I also like canals alot. There are some nice tactical spots in this map from where you can easily kill enemies one by one without being killed alot if you're doing well. The only downside is, when you die and being spawned miles away. Agree with Roof being the worst map! The smoke in this map is moving (it is, rly...I think...it is, right?) but I don't even know if it is moving in the same direction as for every other player. So, could be you can't see shit but your enemy has clear sight. Not sure about that, though. Spawn points are terrible in this map. I cancel it as soon as the game throws me in this map. Streets is a dunno for me. Too much ways to getting killed from behind and messing up k/d (which should be even more important after Ryan explained how score ranking is working). There is also a large part of the map which remains empty most of the time. I mostly cancel it. Construction Side is my favorite out of them all. Easy to reach and to-shoot--at spawn points to spawn trap the enemy even from far away and I personally love the huge line of sight. My opinion is based off on playing with assault though.
If anybody from Gameloft is reading this thread, how about giving us players who enjoy playing by themselves a little more single player contents? I mean something like the Botzone in Killzone Mercenary or Spec Ops missions that involves waves of enemies with weapon drop breaks in between in order to change and customize our loadouts (since they unnecessarily removedd the awesome feature that was shown in the E3 2013 trailer where you can bring up your weapon, Crysis style and customise it) while aiming for a high score just like in COD modern Warfare 3 or Ghost Recon Future soldier. Do not neglect us players that are not crazy about multiplayer gaming just like you did in MC 4.
