Everyone on this thread has been complaining so much... Someone mentioned the game looked like crap, did you forget this was a mobile game?! And have you seen any of the other shooters on IOS? Very few of them even compare... Some of you guys were whining before the game was even released! If you don't like it, don't play it. Also those complaining about the Tier system with weapons, have you all forgotten the Compakt-665 from MC4 cost 120,000 coins? You had to either buy it with real life money or grind like hell.
It may be the first time someone brings up the idea of removing it, but I guarentee its not the first time someone brings up how annoying they are . They're just completely OP man. You're in a gun fight, you're winning, but then right before you kill him he spams impacts at you. And since they detonate on impact, you have no chance to run. Or you run into another foe and his first reaction is to toss an impact, killing you immediately and at times himself. Theyre just not healthy for the gameplay, especially in the competitive side. You're into esports arnt ya ryan? Come on you know this sounds really OP and unfair. They just need to be removed. They did say on one of their streams that they were open to adding and removing features to/from the game. Also a history on the squad chat would be nice. The squad chat is practically dead considering you can't see what you're squad has been talking about while you're offline/in a game. I personally am saddened that theres no point of using of using the other weapons aside from the highest tier. Each gun is so well made and its really just a shame. I was hoping I could use the Charbtek or the Kr since you can hold to shoot them. Same goes for the shotguns & SMGs. Its just really unbalanced and its not healthy for the game and its future, especially when it comes to new players starting up the game a couple of months from now. They're really going to struggle.
This really has been a let down in a way. Still love it. I really like the no IAP. That killed the last two games for me. But this one just hasn't caught me.
Let's not forget the RED-34. It would be nice to dumb down the damage on it! I'm not requesting a removal, but that gun is almost a 2-3 shot kill. Also, I would like to be able to run with the first GL, like how you can with the rockets.
My only complaint so far is the balance of guns. At least match usup with players with at least similar gun strength as us! Personally I think that guns shouldn't vary in flat out strength, but each should have their own strengths and weaknesses
IKR!! I played a match last night and my team got destroyed because two or three players in the opposing team had the RED-34. That gun seriously needs to be weakened a bit.
Yeah a nerf on the RED would be nice. I only requested a removal of the impact grenade because the whole purpose of that grenade is to detonate on impact, and theres really no way around that. Sure you can nerf it, but it'll still detonate on impact causing frustrating and unfair moments. Grenades shouldn't be some type of weapon you can rely on when going face to face with someone, you should only be able to get a kill with them when used in the right/certain situation. Also, why does the concussion grenade do an exaggerated amount if damage? Isn't the purpose of concussion to stun/disorient a foe instead of killing them. That wouldn't work, considering you could easily switch to a higher tier class once you join a game. They need to balance out all guns across all classes to make the game balanced. The tier system was a good idea on paper, not so much a great idea when the game went live. So just to sum up Ryan: RED nerf, Impact grenade removal, a balance across all guns in each class, and let the history be viewable in the squad chat (at least the last 100 messages). We explained all the reasons why these tweaks should be considered on this page We know you're an extremely busy dude. After having bought the game on Saturday, I am still unable to play it because after the one time download of data and shaders it tells me me failed to connect while still on THE Lie Venice screen and the wheel spins
Wow, all I've seen on here are people saying how many problems it has it seems. I got it just now... But after reading the stuff going on, I'm wondering if I should wait for some updates/balance before I try.
I definitely am into esports, but the fact that someone with an impact grenade beats me in a match doesn't make me think it's instantly OP and it needs to be removed Instead I think, how could that engagement have been different? Or what could I have done to outplay him there and not get pooped on by a grenade when I was originally winning the fight. I dunno, that's just me though! I'm happy to pass feedback along to the team if other people feel they are too strong. As for the guns being balanced, those things will come with updates as we have more live data from MP. I definitely have faith the team will tweak any guns that seem too strong in relative strength. See above, I know for a fact that community feedback I sent (along with other CM's) includes this! That's definitely not good! A couple of questions: What device are you on? Did you jailbreak? Do you run in-app hacking tools on there? If you answered yes to the second and third question, try removing the in-app hack and connect again. If not, let me know and I'll mention it to the team.
The thing is they detonate on impact and drain you to 0 health. You're always going to be too slow to dodge it or avoid it in which ever case, due to the immediate detonation. They're just extremely unblanced for combat, which is why multiplayer shooters don't include them, they take no skill/strategy/brain power to get a kill with them. There are many times where I kill someone, but the millisecond before they die they mindlessly toss an impact. I get a fair kill, he was at a fair disadvantage, I then end up being punished because he had the unfair disadvantage & vice versa. (Yeah I do it too at times just as a brainless reaction, I end up dying because I was at a fair disadvantage, but I still trolled hi *clears throat* I mean killed him without trying) Grenades should be used as a tool, to kill a camper, kill someone taking cover, to kill a group of people. They shouldn't be used as a way to practically get a free kill without some sort of approach. If you're face to face with someone, your instinct should be "let me shoot him, Iets see if I have better aim than him" instead of "CRAP *BOOOM*... Heheh got 'em" Haven't seen anyone else deny the removal. I think its an extremely valid statement to say that impacts create an imbalance in the game... Trying my best to convince you to forward it to the devs hahah. #firstworldproblems
This isn't any different from MC4. Anyone with a grenade launcher can kill you in one hit if you don't have a health perk. Same with various types of grenades. I don't see this as a problem.
So the red will get nerfed and now every will complain about the last tier shotgun that thing is a beast at times
Yes there is no problem with grenades in general. The problem is with the impact grenades only. You know, the thing that made MC2 and MC4 out of whack. Haven't you read the countless jokes/memes/reactions to the Meltdown update in MC4? Everyone wanted a nerf to explosives, what did they get? More explosives. What did they not get? A nerf.
I haven't had many problems with impact yet but they can be annoying. Mostly for me it's annoying how lethal the assault rifle is from close or across the map. I've been getting so many more kills since I switched from sniper to assault and sadly I also had more fun. I can find plenty of good spots and just hold fire rather than have to get a perfect shot off or spam sniper shots which still isn't as effective. I do like the sound of recon and want to try but so far the smg is terrible for me. Does it get much better?
That being said, do you think the game will offer a better/more balanced experience if the impacts were removed? I will say with confidence that nothing negative will come with removing it, I definitely see positives though. The recon does get much better as you progress. Tier 2-4 are practically the same so I recommend sticking with tier 2 until you get tier 5. Keep in mind though, ATM the assault has some pretty mean guns (UFIA with max attachments and RED). You'll always be out gunned by these unless you're strafing, get a headshot, or catch them off guard.
