I've played COD since 2009, especially multiplayer heavily until now. With the release of MC5, i can finally play FPS multplayer on the go... the only let down is controller support. Once that's implemented, Watch my k/d skyrocket. I'm a pretty confident and skilled player online (always come 1st 85% of the time) shame i can't showcase my potential yet with touch controls. So i'm leaving multiplayer until game controller support is added.
Spawns were changed this morning in regards to rooftop. You now spawn in the underground room as well as across the map.
I bought this Gamer Duo Gameloft controller - it only works with Gameloft games, no idea why they limited just to game loft games but ok. Now lets see if once MFI controller support is out they remember their own propeietary controller... (Pic below, also came with a device stand that holds the phone or ipad.
I highly, highly, highly doubt MC5 will support it. Heck, only a handful of GL games support that pad, and none of them are recent. I'm sorry to tell you this, but you wasted your money.
Yeah all the games eventually got a graphics switch which makes me think why they just don't include on right out of the gate. After all these years they still can't optimize properly. Absolutely no excuse this should not run amazing on a iPad Air.
Am pretty sure anyone can dominate with a controller will always have a edge over people who just play touch screen
I was in venice this past week, so I didn't feel like commenting here while I was away, but here are some of the things that (mostly multiplayer wise) really annoy me: 1. The progression system is great, but terrible. On the one hand getting rewarded with stuff for doing stuff is great, but being forced to chose one specific class or not be effective at all is terrible. Players have the choice of either having some variety, but not being verry effective or being effective but only with one class. 2. Lag is a massive problem (FYI: I'm playing the android version, perhaps it's less of a problem on the iOS servers? I have no idea.): I have died so many times in multiplayer because I ran behind cover, but apparently wasn't behind cover on the other players screen. It's like my ping is 500ms (According to a ping-test website my phone has a ping of ~28ms). There have also been countless times where I've shot a full mag into an enemy without them dieing or with them dieing half a second after I emptied a clip into them. Often other players will suddenly kill me in one shot or I'll just randomly die, with the killcam showing that the person who shot me couldn't possibly seen me where I was standing when I died. 3. The spawn system sucks. I've spawned right infront of enemy players quite often by now, even though I've only played about ~15 online matches. I've seen enemy players spawn infront of me more than once as well. 4. Grenades are annoying. I know everyone hates me when I do this, but this is one (of many) things Killzone Mercenary (and probably other killzone games? I've never played them) does well: Rather than throwing a small, hard to see object the grenades in that game will flash orange (lighting up the surrounding area, which looks pretty awesome) and beep, giving other players a chance to react to them before they're lying right next to them, since they can both hear and see them coming much easier. The trick then becomes to cook grenades rather than just throw them. 5. People knifing you can be annoying. This is another thing that I think Killzone Mercenary did well: When someone is knifing you from infront of you (the game also has fancy knifing animations like MC5) you still have the chance to counter them. Knifing isn't just an instant win button. And it's not just in KZ:M where that's the case. In Battlefield 3&4 you also can't just insta-kill knife someone from infront, the insta-kill knife animation only triggers when you're behind the enemy you're knifing. 6. With only 4 maps it sucks even more when there's one (or more) map(s) you hate. The venice map is just too big. I literally spent 3 minutes searching for an enemy in a 10 v 10 game. That shouldn't happen. The only map I really like so far is Streets, but even that one isn't as good as many of the maps MC3 & 4 had at launch.
Lol tell me about it. I was really happy earlier today when I (level 14) won a free for all for the first time coming 1 kill ahead of a level 38. Also the guns are very weak compared to the last ones you unlock. Seems like they should just have their own strengths instead of just blatantly making them stronger. That's fine in Singleplayer, not Multi
What is max size for a squad? Why wouldn't gameloft support their own proprietary MFI Gameloft games only controller? I am really really unhappy if that is the case... Wtf
I am quite surprised at how well i am doing in this game, currently rank 40 in great britain on android. I usually suck at these games lol
I am playing on the iPad Air and the frame rate is just horrendous, I haven't had time to read through the entire thread so I am not sure if I am the only one with this issue, I hope it gets fixed soon.
Spawns on Venice need to be fixed. I racked up a 10+ killstreak hanging around the spawn with my teammates.
4 days into this game and I'm having fun with it. Almost as much fun as I had with MC2 back in 2011. Only complaint is that I wish they didn't split the missions up into smaller segments. Feels like Dead Trigger 2 or some other freenium game. I miss the 30-40 mins. missions. Anyone want to join my squad, it's called iSuk.
3 questions guys: 1. Is there any way to reset skill points? 2. There is 4 classes, at max lvl will we be able to max all the perks or? 3. What is max size of a squad? I mean how many members can join one squad (not in game) i mean total
