Thanks! I think I will pass on this one. I could live without controller support but, not with the always online thingy. I should be able to play the game whenever and wherever.
Nerf. Lethal. Grenades. It's ridiculous. All I see in matches is jackasses playing Assault and throwing grenades into hallways to score an insane amount of kills. It makes me want to punch the guy who decided grenades should be this powerful in the face. Nerf grenades. I don't care if I have to buy the update. Nerf them.
This is quite surprising for me... Rooftops is my LEAST favorite map. Especially with all the damn spawn killing!! My favorite of the MC4 maps were extraction, and all of the "snow/arctic" maps, and dog days, legion, backfire, and all of the "desert" maps. I loved using my Charbtek-128 with an Acog scope for long range assault rifles and sniping. For MC5, I enjoy Streets and Canals. And Construction is alright too. I guess I like different styled maps than you, I prefer maps with enough room to take alternate routes, snipe from long distances, and all that so they are more "tactical" maps I would say. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way but Rooftops is too much of a generic Deathmatch style map, and boy oh boy does it seem like every damn time I spawn I get shot in the back. What I'm really hoping for is a new update with at least 6 more maps so we can get more of a variety of not only playing style, but scenery as well. I really really hope they branch out from just the Venice and Japan maps. This is all just my opinion though; no offense to you guys at all!
Hey guys! Started a Touch Arcade squad! Anyone can join as long as you are from Touch Arcade forums! I play every day and have been playing FPS games since the 90's. Join for some fun just search in game for a squad named "Touch Arcade". I left it free to join, so you can automatically join for the next 24 hours. Join before it gets full!
Just got the game, love it so far! When i searched Touch Arcade nothing came up. I would rather join a TA clan if there is a spot- let me know.
What is the installed size for this? I need to know so I can figure out if I will need to delete some games
I see it as 1GB and i didn't download all the solo or miltiplayer maps yet. I would estimate it all in around 1.5GB from what i saw
800mb when you first download it. Once/if you download all the campaign levels it'll end up to be 1.8gb. After you beat the campaign you can delete the app & reinstall it so that you can go back to the 800mb size. You won't lose any progress because your progress is backed up to a cloud. Theres a link to the TA Squads thread on the first post of this thread All the info you needa know is right there
I'm still playing the campaign. Just has a connection error and lost all my progress and have to start over again. It reconnected but lost progress. Really unfair this always on connection. Love the game apart from this.
We already have three see the first post in this thread for details on how to sign up!! @GL how are the single player tournament leaderboard set up? There is definitley more than one, as I finished 5th as did someone else in the TA squads. In fact I didn't see any other TA squady in my leaderboard. (Not complaining as this meant I finished well and got a reward )
Am I the only one that thinks that the spawns in multiplayer are atrocious and the fact you spawn next to an enemy and die almost instantly? So far I love this game but spawns.... Bro.... Ya killin me!
I mostly agree with you guys. Weapon tiers are cool but it's kinda boring to see every player using the same weapon at some point. For assault it's the red. Sure, you can modify it more to your liking with attatchments but the difference is just minor. Would be cool if there were huge differences in dmg, precision, etc. depending on which weapon/attachment combinations you are using. Like maxing precision and such things. Some spawn points are rly worse. Especially on the Roof Map were two points are spawning you right in the middle of the action (top roof and stairs). Regarding to my post about DT2. There isn't rly much going on "under the hood". It's just because GL is still using a kinda outdated graphic engine (they are using it in almost all of their games) which is getting upgraded yearly with new post processing effects (which every low end pc can handle) but barely improved in performance while Unity is handled by an extern Group who is able to focus on both, graphics and performance, instead of developing new games. The A7 was officially announced as a desktop class SoC but it doesn't help if developers don't optimizing their games.
Can someone explain in detail how you knife someone? Is it a swipe or you must be close enough to see knofe button and press it? I keep getting kniffed in multiplayer lol- still haven't figured how to knife back!
