This is amazing: So today the update was released on android, and I pretty much immediately bought some supply packs with the currency I got for owning the game before the update. Now the thing is that these supply packs gave me a bunch of boosts with a 25 minute timer... THAT STARTED COUNTING DOWN IMMEDIATELY WHILE THE MULTIPLAYER COMPONENT WAS STILL DOWNLOADING (updating). So yeah, basically those wasted. I would have thought they'd at least do the sensible thing and base the countdown timers for the boosters on gameplay time, not time in general, because that's just a ripoff.
I actually did get a bunch of masks and some attachments, so it wasn't too bad I guess. So I played a match, and I don't know. Network latency seems to have gotten a lot worse (I can't really compare, since I haven't played the game in months), but now people seem to teleport once every half second. That's just inacceptable for a first person shooter. The other thing is that the graphics seem to have gotten worse from what I remember them being like. I don't know, but was the ground texture quality for this area on the contstruction site always this shitty? It's literally a blurry mess, with an 4-bit colour palette at most, and the game is definitely not running at native resolution. I don't have many screenshots to compare it with, but here's one from before the update from the singleplayer for comparison. I know the multiplayer always looked a lot worse than the singleplayer, but come on! Also I still wish the controller controlls had accelerated aiming. When you try to turn around with a controller it takes literally forever, unless you turn the sensitivity way up in which case you can't aim precisely. At least Zone Control is a lot more interesting than all the multiplayer modes the game previously had, but I'm not going to praise gameloft for bringing back a mode previous games had over half a year later.
Yeah hat doesn't look good I know it's not really something you want to hear, but the game does look rather good with metal on iOS!
So iv completed well over 100 missions and multi play matches since the update came out and still no supply drop. Were would be the best place to drop a hit to gameloft that the rate might need tweaking (and yes I understand the fewer that drop the more people buy, but I brought this as a premium game and fell I should be able to access the content through playing not paying).
Oh wow. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad. I wouldn't worry about the drops. They're mostly aesthetic items, and the ones that boost abilities diminish other skills. Same with the "pro" weapons. GL won't tweak the rate; it's against their best interests.
Unfortunately I don't have a console or PC that would actually let me play at the moment. Other more important things to spend money on
I'm interested if you still have one. I'm curious to see what my stats would look like with all the new players swamping MP.

The mfi controller support is really broken. Getting really frustrated that there isn't a good support. For example turning around, aiming is a joke. And yes I tried every setting. I can't believe they can't tweak this. Touch screen is far supperior at this moment sadly enough
So here's something pretty interesting. On their "news" section inside the game, Gameloft says that all veterans players will get 2 weeks of increased chance of supply drops(I haven't gotten any yet) 25% xp, weapons and score boosters. However, I logged in 10 minutes ago, and surprise, my stuff has run out. I don't recall 2 weeks to be 7 days. GG gameloft.
