Yeah sprinting's fine. It's the gun balancing that they need to work on along with hacker prevention.
I'd say it's Mouse & Keyboard > touch controls = controller. Why? Touch controls aren't better in every way, but aren't worse in every way. The great thing about touch controls is the precision, while not quite as good as a Mouse you rarely will turn around too far and miss your target. However one big problem with touch controls is that you can't do nearly as many things at once as with a controller or a Mouse & Keyboard. Say you want to jump while running forwards and firing your gun? Doesn't work on a touchscreen if you only have two thumbs, like most of us do.
Mouse & Keyboard > Touch controls > Controller. Touch controls are way better than Controllers in every possible way. And yes, you can jump, aim and shoot at the same time in Nova 3. I killed a lot of guys jumping from one of the bridges of Lost World without using the jetpack and using the sniper plasma weapon (forgot the name).
Good points. I'd say I prefer a controller for some games, touch for others and keyboard and mouse for most.
Keyboard and mouse for FPS games Controller for sports (madden etc) and action/adventure (god of war, Arkham city etc) and racing games. Touch controls for about everything else, which really only comes down to casual stuff for the most part. Other then that I don't care what I'm using.
Lol...those helmets and computers make for an amusing visual contrast. I HEREBY PREDICT: 1) We will see actually gameplay 2) Shortly after, there will be more info given to the press and we will see it 3) A lot of new info about the game in general, the amount of hype they're building is too big for just another trailer We might see: 1) Multiplayer gameplay 2) A release date
You can jump aim and fire but in a very limited firing radius in comparison to controller. You can't enter/exit ironsight, fire and jump simultaneously. It requires three fingers on the screen. I'd guess his (the post you're replying to) ultimate point was that a controller allows you to use 4 fingers simultaneously which obviously gives a greater degree of control over a larger range of actions. The Gameloft are as good as controls can get on touch screen. But touchscreen has its own limitations. It's still my primary gaming but the experience with a controller is different and has an extra degree of precision. And nothing really beats pc. And we'll see gameplay, multi info, no release date.
Well Multiplayer is often the last thing that Gameloft reveals before launching a game so it wouldn't be too far off (1-2 weeks)
Touch controls is the best. I'm not good at aiming and I need aim assists. I can kill none with mouse keyboard, kill a few with a controller but I can kill a lot with touch screen. But somehow, I'm only good at nova 2& 3 , still suck in the mc games.
Can you guys imagine if this countdown just was for another advertisment. This could be a real big tease from Gameloft.
Don't crush my dreams!!! I'm still counting on that 0.00000000000000001 chance that this is a countdown till release
I sorta feel sorry for people having to wear helmets in the office. Yet at the same time, part of me wants one.
