For the last time guys, IT'S COMING OUT ON THE 29TH! Major Gameloft Games almost always come out on Thursday, and the 29th is the last Thursday of the month. There are multiple tweets from Gameloft Austrailia confirming that the game is coming out this month, and not to mention that a bunch of action games went on sale today, which infers a major release.

100 attachments just sounds amazing! And the fact that they're making it more like MC2, or so they say, sounds awesome!

The only thing I'm worried about is that 6 attachments on a weapon could make it Overpowered. Imagine the OPS55 with FMJ, Extended Mags, Stock, Flash Hider, and Red Dot.
@Killercow Where did you find the video?

I think we will see some seriously balance issue. Having 4 perks seems way OP. and attatchement system looks like Medal of Honor warfighter.
I like the way game look. But some guns like that smg in middle of the video looks really weird and way the recoil looks is just really bad compare to all other guns move. Also I perfect acog scope from mc3. Don't really like the new look of it. Even tho red dot looks awesome
    But overall, looks good!

The dev diary 2 was officially released by Gameloft earlier today. It just hasn't showed up everywhere yet.

Some more actual gameplay hands on previews are going to start showing up on sites later on today so look out for them.

Release is getting closer and closer. Only one more week to go. (Unofficially)

Looks like gameloft is focusing on weapon customization... FPS were never mainly about weapon customization. If you like to customize things then go play with a barbie doll. Just give me a gun and I'll own with the skill.

Sorry I'm just against those mindless bullet spreading games they make these days. The skill requairment got lost somewhere in time...

Looking good, but I'm gonna wait for a 99 cent sale. Or actually, I'll just wait for just to go to free.

Or wait, actually, Gameloft, please make this freemium so I don't have to spend any money! There could be like banner ads at the top of the screen during multiplayer and the loading screens could be ads. And then we can pay real money for guns and a 99 cent fee per match. And then have a subscription for multiplayer. That way I can play for free.

I completely agree with you, that is why I loved Modern combat 2, Just pick up the game get into a match within 30 seconds of launching it and just shoot people, but those days are long gone :(

Yeah, but if everyone has the same option then I don't think it can that overpowering, not can it? Well I hope it can't.

You can just play Barebone all day long then. It's a TDM mode with no special customizations. No attachments, no perks. No grenades either if I remember correctly.

For a moment I actually believed you.

MC2 was a perfect game aside from two annoying things. Grenades and Spawns.

I hate how I could have so many flawless matches, but I always get killed by some random nade spammer.

And the spawns... They don't take any damage after spawning for a couple of seconds and it's really pissing me off how I could kill him instantly, but instead I gotta zigzag for a couple of seconds before I can kill him.

Don't forget how if you hit the grenade button right before you died, you would spin around to face your killer while throwing a grenade in his face. The only way to get a good KD was to Snipe while rushing in Avalanche. The problem with that was when MC3 came out, a bunch of people complained because now they couldn't use their OP Sniper rifles to kill everyone. Anyway, I see myself playing alot of barebones. It seems like it will be the game mode of choice for people that want to display thier true skill.

Be honest. Do any of you think it'll run on the iPod 4 or iPhone 4?

Yes, completely stripped of effects and with low grade textures. We're talking

    -no dynamic shadows
    -no dynamic lighting
    -no ragdoll
    -no dynamic objects
    -lower framerate
-low grade textures and toned down particle effects

If those are removed I can see it running on A4 devices.
