He's from Gameloft? Also, I think this will be out before December 12. They want Christmas sales and December 22 could be too late...
When both are running at native resolution, I have to admit the iPad 2 is more potent. The only time I would disagree would be with Bastion.
If you're from Gameloft, about relaying our worries about framerate issues withe retina resolution on the iPad 3?
Yeah, it was confirmed a long time ago if I remember correctly. Anyway, just looking at all his posts makes that obvious enough http://forums.toucharcade.com/search.php?searchid=9961337
Cool. Thanks for that. Any chance of a hint or elaboration? Probably can't but its worth a shot to ask. Looking forward to it in a big way so it'll be worth the wait either way.
He is a senior manager at Gameloft headquarters. So it's always reliable info from him. And nice to see him here as well. And most of the Christmas downloads are done at or after Christmas Day when people get their hands on their presents, idevices and iTunes vouchers. And being on the new and noteworthy at that stage is a massive boost. The week before that would be too early to still be on the key lists. So the first two weeks of December tend to be a lot quieter than the third week. The last week before iTunes connect shutdown is always the biggest launch period of the year. December 20th will be the biggest single launch day of the year.
Probably, but what I meant is that they need more time to get it out there to publicity. It cant be Dec. 22nd
Definately. A shit ton of people will be getting the new iPod and iPhone for christmas, iPads (like me! ;D) and just about everyone on the planet will get iTunes cards. A release a few days ahead of Christmas, and plenty of media and publicity until then, and everyone will know about it as well, new and noteworthy or not. Kaching. Genius. Lol
I think it'd be more likely that gamelot will release the game in about a month, but right before christmas put it on sale to put it back on the verry top of the charts.
That would work too. But whatever they do or whenever this releases, we'll surely be looking at it on Most Paid app spot.
Well the gap between MC3 trailer and release was two months and the gap between Wild Blood trailer and release was about a month. And the gap between launch and going on sale for MC3 was 4 months. I can see the game possibly launching at the beginning of November but I definitely cannot see it going on sale for Christmas if its out by then.
The Graphics! The game looks great, trust me! I always need to remind myself that I'm playing on an iPhone...
Nova 3 had a gameplay trailer released 6 days after the reveal trailer of it, hopefully we will get a similar thing with this. October 1st gameplay trailer???
Interesting. I'm sure it will be the leading fps graphically on iOS. I wonder if the story is more serious this time round. It seems to have a harder edge to it from the trailer.
That's what I was wondering. I need to see some gameplay and more of the script, though. And decent actors help loads.
