I hope the multiplayer works on a wireless hotspot because MC3 and Nova 3 didn't and that was so disappointing, if someone on this thread does play those games on multiplayer on iPod can you tell me the name of the hotspot, mine is Tmobile.
Where I'd you find this info? EDIT:http://iosgaming.weebly.com/mc4-achievements.html Holy crap guys. If you haven't seen the achievments list, then read it now. It can give you a lot of info about the game. I don't think it mentions getting collaterals though. However, it infers that throwing knives will ricochet, there is a campaign shop which leads me to believe that the campaign will be like black ops 2,where you can choose your guns, and the trophies also infer that if you are a boss player, you can complete the entire campaign in just under 2 hours (119 minutes). Completing it at this speed will give you the achievments for completing missions fast. The trophies also don't seem that difficult to unlock, so there is a possibility that an everyday Joe Schmoe can get all 50 achievments.
Throwing knives already ricochet in MC3. If you throw against a wall or static object, they do ricochet back and kill you. Bad experience has taught me that one. I just assumed it would be the same in this one.
This ^ Also, N3 and kinda Mc3 had what could be considered a "campaign shop". Not necessarily anything new
Personally, I hate all these MP trophies they put in the game. Not for iOS games since you don't really get anything for unlocking trophies like on psn xbl But still, more than Half of them are MP trophies lol
Since when have throwing knives ricochet in MC3? As far as I know, when I tested this, all it did was go through the surface. For me, it rarely bounces off anything.
Since when? Since forever. It simply depends on how close to the solid object that you are. I was one of the first ten (around fifth roughly, can't remember exactly) to hit rank 90 in the game world wide and I've roughly 500 hours put in to it. Using throwing knives since unlocked them a year ago. So trust me, I know what I'm talking about. The throwing knives ricochet in MC 3, so of course they will ricochet in MC 4. The physics and hit detection will probably just be better.
No it's not the release date. When IGN has an estimate on a game that's says quarter 4 2012, with no set date attached, they automatically put in the last day of that quarter. That exact same thing has come up here (and many other threads) before. The game will be out before the end of November (29th).
As Rip said, that is the automatic date IGN puts. It happens with a lot of games, and it happened with the release of MC3 last year.
Not necessarily, as the end of the fall (they say released fall, not Q4 of 2012) is December 21 or 20 when the winter solstice is, so the final date it could possibly be released on time would be thursday December 20.
The astronomical fall (Northern Hemisphere) 2012 began on Saturday, September 22 and ends on Thursday, December 20. Quarter 4 is October, November, December. There is an element of crossover there bar three weeks roughly. As the teaser released in the last week in September, it was safe to assume it wouldn't launch that week. Hence it goes to October at the earliest, December 20th at the latest. And it hasn't released yet and no official date has been set. Yet. Hence why IGN judged it as during the final quarter of 2012. The last day of which it is possible for it to launch in quarter 4 is the 30th (nothing launches on New Year's Eve) and the 20th is the last day before holidays that the App Store will be launching anything. However none of that changes the fact that the 29th of November will be the launch date. (Unless something goes drastically wrong.) The 22nd was a possibility but considering Heroes of Order and Chaos is that day and some other freemium game, that I can't remember the name of, from Gameloft is also launching on the 22nd, this will not launch alongside them.
