HMO.. But to me it looks like snipers are basically just same snipers from mc3 with different name. So yeah it's probably not going to happen but we will see.
Also that tz combat or whatever that gun is called, pretty sure that gun is Charbtek CTK-28 Heavy Rifle
And kr600 sniper is E24 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle

I wonder why people think this is smooth framerate? It's clearly lags

If you think that is lag, then you don't know what true lag is. There is a small amount of lag in that video, but the rest is the player sucking with low sensitivity. It is also the beta build of the game. I've played NOVA 3 on my iPad with no lag.

Lol it's not beta build. It was the full game and just put beta build underneath because game was about come around in 2 weeks.
Still game actually does have drops every time.
It DOES lags, it's playable. But it takes away all the experiences. No one wants to play game that lags

    No, it's not lag.

    But

It has noticeable framerate drops, and the framerate never goes above 30.

It is playable? Yes. Is it acceptable? To me, no, and that's why I shelled out $200 to upgrade my chipset. But that's just me and my hatred of a non-stable framerate >30.

Guys all this is really interesting but every time I see a new post in this thread it has to do with lagging on NOVA 3, not news on MC4.

30 FPS is bad for me. I'm a PC gamer and I expect 60 FPS from my games. There is a huge difference between 30 and 60. The problem on iOS is that the framerate in games is rarely if ever stable. I have yet to see 3D games with constant 30/60 FPS on iOS. NOVA 3 is not very fluid, but playable (both on 4S and iPad 3, 4S is noticeably smoother and better looking though). I haven't tried NOVA 3 or MC3 on iPhone 5 because I don't think they are widescreen.
@JBRUU well the game isn't out so there's not much we can say about it, is it?

That's because there are no news on MC4.

And apparently maintaining the denial that your two year old iPod is still a capable gaming device is the #1 topic.

That's not lag... I'd be in heaven if games ran that smooth...

If you want, I can install Display Recorder and MC3 and show you the real meaning of lag...

That's quite smooth actually, IMO. If u really want to experience major FPS drop, try playing NOVA 3 multiplayer with more than 10 people in the lobby on an iPod Touch 3rd gen.

I don't want to get any flak from the mods, so I shall be brief: that is not smooth. It may seem smooth because you have not played it on a device with a current generation chipset and therefore have nothing to compare it to, but trust me: it is not smooth. Playable, but not acceptable to me (spoiled by PC and A6X framerates, I am :p)

I will not be responding to further posts on this topic (or will try not to).

I understand your not trying to be negative but your not getting my point. I know the graphics on mc4 will probably be even better than Nova 3 and that is saying something.... but you don't know how mc4 will be optimized. The devs at Gameloft might have been working on their optimization for A5 devices so therefore your making assumptions on how well this will run on the iphone 4S, iPod 5 and ipad mini....

Why don't you wait until it comes out and then we'll see what happens.

Btw, nova 3 runs pretty good on the iphone 4S. It's a very good game.

You're still going on about your so called "lag" and what not? PFFF XD.

can't picture how you guys managed to enjoy any king of video entertainment 2 generations ago.

You'd be all "my VCR is lagging, it's unwatchable".... ">30 fps is not acceptable"... Ridiculous.
