Well by the time MC3 was released, it was a great looking game, i looks better than, lets say 3DS games, now, the new iPhone is just as powerful as the vita, this actually almost as good as CoD BO Declassified for the vita.

    And... [IMG]

I don't know what do you mean by "low grade textures".

Anyway, i will give you that animations in Gameloft games are really bad.

Thank you. This is exactly how nova3 looks on an ipad2 , how can some people say that it has bad graphics I don't know. Maybe they compare it with crysis2 or halo4 ? As I've written in another thread , the better the graphics become in IOS game the weirder the reactions of some people are .
Anyway modern combat 4 looks amazing , just like it was expected .

I know, they seem to forget that it's a handheld and that's the 2nd best looking handheld out there, my prediction is that the iPhone 6 will beat the crap out of the vita, it's only natural.

To be honest i think that NOva3 looks better than the resistance game for vita and MC4 looks better than the COD game for vita. Of course that's nihilistic's fault , since the vita can do so much more .

Yeah that's true, it usually happens with early games, still, iOS is the future of handhelds for me.

I just hope MC4 looks as good as in the trailer on the iPod touch 5.

..................................... You're saying that OPS55(was there a 0?) and Roar 3000 were not OP? Get out of this thread... Seriously, killstreaks were balanced, it was the guns that weren't. The only thing that made the killstreaks op was the coins and the store. Nuke wasn't overpowered. You had to get 20 kills to achieve it and if you got that high killstreak then it's only fair that you can end the game.

Also, this trailer looks EPIICCCC!"!W"#¤ERQWF RDXZTGDZ :D

When I approach a vehicle and look at its skin, I see pixelated mess. Far away, the model looks fairly Good, up close, It's a messy Pixalated texture. For example, as your crawling out of the sewer in level 1, I see pixels on the street.

And you're playing on an iPod touch or another a4 device, I take it?

And that's beside the point. I see a pixelated mess in console games sometimes. Not every nook and cranny is going to be up to the same standards. If you go through the entire game looking at your character's gun and hand, it'd better look good. If you go through the game and have to look in a corner to find a low res texture, you aren't playing a game for fun.

It looks far better than BO declassified on the vita. I saw the trailer and I thought it was a psp game. And don't get me started on resistance...though AC3 looks great.

    /off topic

Well if you want to see a shooter on the vita that looks like it'll look great, search for Killzone Mercenary.

    /Going off topic even more.

/frantically searches for something to write that is on topic to make this post have a reason to be in this thread.

    uhm... uh...

Judging by the trailer it looks like they wanted way more planes and helis flying past the camera or exploding right infront of you... I'm not complaining!

Judging from the trailer the game looks amazing just in terms of lighting and far, far sharper textures than mc3. The tone also seems more serious, and in my book that's a good thing for a shooter.

Well, mc3 is already far better (in terms of multiplayer, not campaign and about even on graphics) than the vita' flagship fps resistance, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Yes, I just looked over the trailer again. I'm really, really liking what I see. This is MAJOR change in tone for the series. MC1 was closest to this, with MC2 a more happy-go-lucky shooter and MC3 an arcade shooter with no sense of seriousness. The trailers were all of the player shooting dozens of "bad guys" and being "cool". I'm fine with that, BUT this looks different and I like the change. The scenes they choose to highlight such as the soldier getting shot multiple times while his arms flail and create a sort of god ray effect or the player and a companion charging up a beach (reminded my a lot of D-day and saving private ryan), the voiceover, "you will have blood on your hands", the sober music, all these point to a far more serious and dark shooter. I'm loving it. Hopefully it won't turn out to be cheesy crap like 9mm was.

Edit: watched it again. Yep, I think I'm right (of course!). Try watching the mc3 and mc2 trailer and them this. Huge difference.

Well, Paul was right. They released the official teaser Sept. 25.

Last year I believe it was released Aug. 25 with release Oct. 25. So we'll probably see a November 25 release. Just from that teaser, there's a lot of work that needs to be done on the game.

Full online leaderboards for all the MC series once it's launched. At least for MC4 anyway.
I know there used to be leaderboards on one of their websites before but the bookmarks I had don't load anymore.

And a slow reveal between now and launch.

You're right about this being their first time having a pre launch website though.

Obviously, but I'm sure they plan on doing more with it was his original point.
